idk what they are called but they actually have rattlesnakes, if the snake bites you, you are a sinner.  It is crazy, I saw it on some documentary that was on t.v.

The darkest would be any blood for sin religion. This is especially true since the Founder of that religion was trying to convince the people that God is like a loving heavenly Father.

So what do the followers preach? A deity who demands blood for sin. So the whole thing has been turned upside-down. More on my bio.

I was raised in family that attended a pretty progressive ELCA church, so it's not like I haven't heard the Christian song and dance before. However, Fundies take it to this bizarro twisted level that's just as entertaining as it is sad.

Oh, I just remembered the creepy "comic books" Jehovah's Wittiness' used to hand out to kids at the grocery store about he end of the world.  My boyfriend used to collect them and keep them on the back of his toilet.  He had like 25 of them, they still give me chills.

I don't think that any religion should be considered weird.  

When are people going to grow up and realize that humans have the right to believe in what they want to and they shouldn't have to be judged by the ignorance of others.

There is usually a very reasonable explanation to why religion practise particular things - before you judge them as weird - why don't you find out why they do it?
