I think heroin is up there, but the top of the line is meth.  The stuff tears apart familys, young lives, and is responsible for so much of the crime that occurs daily in this country.   It causes teeth to fall out, kidneys to fail, hearts to stop, tempers to flare etc. etc.  I say the worse the smell of a drug, the worse the effect.  It kills brain cells, and kills lives.  Please think, before ever trying to smoke, shoot, or put up your nose.  This drug is literally poison!

I would have to see Heroin, it really messes people up, only takes a time or two of using it to get addicted, and from what I understand the withdraw symptoms are h**l, makes you puke and freak out from what I have heard from some reliable sources. Never personally tried it.

It's a toss up between Meth and Heroin, because both are easily are easily made with unpure and unsafe cheap means. Plus heroin is often used with used needles shared which increases the risk of HIV. Meth labs are everywhere now, but most is made quick, cheap, and unsafe with impurities. It's highly addictive and easily available. Neither one are safe. If you have to do an illicit drug, stick to the green stuff.

The worst in terms of what- mentally, to society, health, death-causing, addiction?  

It is actually Meth, because it is the biggest growing epidemic in the U.S.  It is a man-made toxic chemical compound, very addictive and has a cheap price.  You can smoke, inhale, it or inject it.  Meth labs leave behind toxic waste that poisons the environment.  It causes paranoia, hallucinations, heart failure, etc.  People do look bad in after pics, toxins build up under the skin and cause bumps, they pick at them, they look aged and meth also causes a condition called "meth mouth" where the teeth rot out.

Heroin is also the worst, especially when taken intreveniously.  It is very dangerous and highly addictive.  Heroin overdoses cause many deaths.  Both heroin and Meth are highly associated with HIV.

Crack has done so much damage since it came out, caused much crime and death, and ruined many people, but the reason I say it is not the worst is because it is not AS physically addictive as heroin.  You can die when going through withdrawal from heroin, whereas crack is just a strong craving and more psychologically addictive.  It is a fast high that only lasts a few minutes.
