What do you think jim edmonds will do after this season?

I honestly see him retiring after this year. He just got married not too long ago and this seems like a logical time to settle down and raise a family. I would love to see jim play another season in cubbie blue (or somewhere in the AL so he doesn't bite the cubs in the @ss), but it just seems like all edmonds wanted is a fair shot at a championship one last time and he has it now with the cubs. And edmonds has pretty much accomplished everything he could have, from winning numerous gold gloves to finally getting the big prize.

i like how an os fan says somethin about how the cubs wont win the world series when u look at the standings i didnt see them even in 3rd or 4th thats b cause they suck and they r behind the blue jays in last place

Well, during the season, he'll keep producing and get the Cubs to the NLCS against the Cardinals, where he'll intentionally drop balls in the outfield and strike out and basically throw the series. After the Cubs fans all cry their salty tears and find a new Bartman, Jimmy Ballgame will return to STL where he'll join the Cards in the WS victory parade.

i hope Jimmy Pop resigns with the cubs, he could give them one more full season of 20 HR, 70 RBI, 50 R, 280 BA, the cubs do need a left handed center fielder that can produce, Pie isn't quite ready and Edmonds isn't quite done

Who says they will go to the World Series? They'll make the playoffs but anything can happen in the post-season. Don't get too cocky.
