It was suppose to be Kane's mask but since wwe is stupid enough to basically give it away, they decided to change. Mysterio is just recovering and now wwe wants him back and I guess this is the best way to get him back on the roster

People are think that Kane physically hurt Rey Mysterio, but I think that when Kane said Rey was scarred beyond recognition, I think Kane was talking about Mysterios mental health. I think Kane may have "brainwashed" mysterio, and Mysterio will come back as a totally different persona. Thats just my opinion, but I think this storyline has the potential of being one of the best storylines in recent WWE history.
