  1. I always thought  a person needed some light to survive..but there are people that are literally allergic to sunlight..so yea it may be possible

  2. Well, if we lived in total darkness, first of all, we would never be able to see so we wouldn't barely ever go outside and do sports and get excersize, so we would get unhealthy, and eventually die probably. Second of all, if we lived in total darkness, no plants would grow, so where would we get our food. If we would get no more food, we would get wayyyy unhealthy, get to skinny, and eventually die. Third of all, if we lived in total darkness, then there would probably be a lot more car accidents as a result of not being able to see. I mean, just think about it.  I really hope this helps you.

  3. the answers above my answer got it all wrong.

you see, blind people still lives in an enviroment with light, so they can partially see light and some colors that are litted. try closing your eyes, you can still see your monitor's light, though very dim, another is try pointing a laser on your closed eye or even try pointin it on a blind person, they'll surely react.

another is, living in a total darkness, of course you can't really see. no matter how you adapt to the place, no matter how much time you spend in darkness, you really would not see anything bcoz there's no light reflecting objects to your light-dependent eyes(unless you say partially litted enviroment).

now to answer your question, everything's possible. evryone thaT CAN adpt to any place can live in total darkness. they can develop ESP and feel objects as far maybe as 5 feet. they can move around without seeing anything.

now, it would be very hard for us to find an enviroment in the whole univerwse which is totally dark. well, you can improvise an air-tight vault.

  4. I think if a creature was use to living in darkness. Then naturally it would see.So yes anything is possible.

  5. The big problem with living in total darkness would be finding food and an even bigger problem would be growing food without sunlight.  However, there are some creatures that grow deep in the water and live off of stuff that comes out of geysers in the bottom of the ocean, so I guess we could live on that stuff also.

  6. Some people do live in total darkness. You might want to ask a blind person.

Also, try to cut back on the drugs. They will really do a number on you later in life, trust me on this.

  7. of course. if not, wat about blind people living on theirselves

  8. you must be an alien...

    greetings!

  9. i think yes,it would be possible.

  10. hmmm, the universal question to all thing reat and small.

  11. I have no idea who these green children are, but living in total darkness is possible.  We as species aren't nocturnal, so we are geared for light conditions.  However, as someone else mentioned, there are blind people out there.  I think there might be a problem with vitamin D deficiency too.

  12. Total darkness is relative.

  13. Living in total darkness would be the same as living without the sense of sight i.e. completely blind.

There are many people who are completely blind -- they have absolutely no sense of light in any way -- because they have had their eyes removed or their eyes are non-functional. They can be very well adapted; using guide dogs, talking books, Braille readers, walking sticks, and many other devices and abilities. None of the blind people I know have any special powers, though they do pay extra attention to sounds.

A world without any light would have major problems for life, as there would be no photosynthesis, therefore no plant life, therefore no food for animal life.
