What do you think makes Australia Unique?

In my opinion, Australia is unique for the notorious known majority of poisonous animal wildlife there...just to mention a few...Taipan snakes not including other poisonous ones,.. poisonous cane toads, extremely poisonous marinelife...such as the cone snail, spotted octopus and worst of 'em all...a type of jellyfish about the size of your fingernail that has the worst toxin amongst his cousins, called the "Uricandji" or something like that.  That's what I think makes Australia unique for me!

  3. Australia is unique because of its size (USA minus Alaska) and the unique animals - kangaroos, koalas, wombats, platypus as well as unique plants and trees - eucalyptus.

    The beaches are great, the people are friendly, the climate is good.

    It is not overcrowded with a population of around 22 million. It is cosmopolitan in the large cities but has many attractions close by.
