  1. It is normal to have spotting during an early pregnancy, it usually happens during implantation. If your having cramping that is very painful followed by bleeding then go to your doctor. For now stop having s*x until  you speak to your doctor to make sure its okay to continue having intercourse. Hope this helps

  2. You mentioned after o****m?... It is very common to have some slight bleeding/spotting after s*x or an internal exam due to pressure on the cervix which is carrying a lot more blood than usual.  I've had it will all three pregnancies.  However, I also had a miscarriage that started with some bleeding/spotting and no pains at all.  The only way you'll know for sure is to get to the doc as soon as possible.  They will no doubt send you for an early pregnancy ultrasound to check.  Meantime, stop having s*x until your doctor gives you the OK. Good Luck!

  3. You can't have nornal menstrual periods and be pregnant, since periods happen when the corpus luteum on the ovary dies, progresteone levels fall sharply and the uterine living is lost through the cervix.

If this happened your pregnancy would be lost.

Having said that, when you become pregnant, the cervix becomes engorged with blood and swells, and it secretes extra mucus that forms a plug sealing the cervix shut and protecting the growing baby from the outside world.

This engorgement makes it more delicate than normal, and suseptable to grazing and injury, and also to bleeding slightly if it is bumped (eg: during s*x) or with physical exertion (eg: jumping around at the gym,or horseriding).

Any vaginal bleeding should be investigated by your doctor or midwife.

Please note about 50% of women experience some sort of bleeding in early pregnancy - sometimes mistaken for a period.   A significant number will NOT miscarry.

  4. spotting and light bleeding are very common in pregnancies, however you should still seek advice from your gp, and also bleeding with pains can be serious, never delay action x

  5. I would go to your doctor and get checked out.  When I had my last miscarriage I had brown discharge and I lost the baby 1 week later.  It may be nothing but better to be safe than sorry.

  6. I would have your doctor check you out.  It could be nothing at all, but it is better to be safe than sorry!!

  7. I would have your doctor check you out, better to be safe than sorry later. Some women experience a bit of spotting, I did,Sometimes, the placenta separates a bit, and this causes some bleeding. I just thought of something else, the closer towards your due date, the more careful you need to be with intercourse, it can cause you to go into labor. Early in the pregnancy, rough s*x, can cause bleeding, it is best to try laying on your side, and have him approach from the back. Try not to get too carried away.Good luck

  8. Sweetie, I would get it checked out... I was 11 weeks and started with light bleeding that got heavier and heavier over the period of a week before I found out I was miscarrying... please get it checked, okay?

  9. My husband and I couldn't have s*x when I was pregnant with my first one after about six months.  The doctor wasn't concerned after we told him we would wait until after the birth.  Sometimes it just irritates the tissues and causes some bleeding.
