Ok, my dad told me and my brother, that we weren't allowed to do anything for a month, until we learn to clean up the house better. Anyways he let my brother go to football anyways the other day and he hadn't done much, and I had done quite a bit. Then later that day my frend called and invited me over for this weekend, and I told her I would have to see, but I told my dad it would only be fair because of my brother and the house is in great shape. So would you let me go as long as I kept the cleaning and neatness up?

  1. I am guessing your a girl so in reality it is your job as the female to clean house and all that good stuff, but I would let you go.

  2. no i wouldn't.  you are grounded.

    football is school related.

  3. first of all I wouldnt have let your brother go to football and I wouldnt let you go there but to really answer your question yeah if your brother went to football you should be able to go there

  4. Darn tootin'

that wouldnt be fair if he didnt. equality for women!

  5. yeah of course.

as long as yuu did something good like clean the house

    its all good

he should be fair back and let you. ask him

  6. This is a trust issue between you and your dad and I think he is not playing fair and is setting you and your brother up to be at odds with each other.  If it were me it would take time for the trust to be established and to see if it will last.  You might try making a job chart where you and your brother each write down what you did to keep the house clean each day.  Hang it where your dad can see it and see how that effects the status of your grounding.  This probably won't help the weekend situation but it should make everyone more accountable including your dad.
