What do you think my problem is?

10 weeks ago i strained my back at work and since then i have had pain in my groin. it hurts when i run or kick the footy, for up 2 four or five days.Its not getting any better and had 6 wks off it. Plz help

  1. u didnt stretch ur groin and now its sore...if its been sore for long then get it checked..cos when mine is sore it only lasts like 2-3 days

  3. I think your main problem is your asking a bunch of yobbo footy fans like me ... and not your physiotherapist.

    Sounds like a hyper-extension type of injury, probably through stretching/bending as you would from having your back foot slip while you were trying to kick a torp.  It would probably require 6-8 weeks off.  4 weeks of that would be complete rest from kicking.

    But what would I know :-)

    groin problem so many of the young players

    are falling foul of, due to over-training.

    Looks like a major operation for you. Probably

    be out of the game for a season.
