  1. that is more than half of what I have to live on each year - utter disgrace

  2. The whole thing is an absolute disgrace.

  3. I have worked in companies where employees, -- salesmen/women, managers and directors etc --  are able to claim expenses, but the were always scrutinised by whoever had the job of paying them back.  Anyone claiming anything inappropriate would have been severely dealt with.

In my opinion there are more criminals outside prison than there are inside.

This greedy, smirking avarice is just one of them  I think politics has become show-business for ugly greedy people.

  4. Ahh this is the same Mr. Martin - Speaker  of the House - in charge of the committee to ammend the House of Commons Expenses procedures.

  5. It sounds like selfishness, corruption and legalised theft to me as well as an utter contempt for the electorate who have to pay for this wanton extravagance.

They should both be sent to prison along with all the other criminals.

  6. It's gross contemptuous abuse and corruption.  An example needs to be made of these vermin, prison terms need to doled out to the theiving b******s.  LETS MARCH ON PARLIMENT AND DEMAND ACTION.  THESE SICKINING SCOUNDRELS HAVE TRODDEN OVER US LONG ENOUGH, THE GOVERNMENT MUST TAKE NOTICE OF THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE PUT THEM THERE, RATHER THAN BLEED US DRY AND LEAVE OUR EMPTY HUSKS TO ROT IN CARE HOMES ABUSED, DEFEATED, AND HUMILIATED.

  7. Immoral.

  8. Absolutely appaling.  Shopping is not business related and its our tax that's being spent.  Its a joke.

  9. An utter disgrace, the wife is not an a member of this so called government, why is she allowed the use of a taxi at the tax payers expense?

  10. Disgusting...they should be made to explain to all these people that can't get cancer treatment because there isn't funding exactly why they needed to take a taxi - to their faces. They should be ashamed.

  11. You can add many 000000 for the others wives....

  12. Does anyone really believe that politicians are there for the greater good, they are only there to line their pockets, and their families. The days of democracy are long gone, what the populace wants has no place in their thinking they all vote in the commans and the Lords for what benefits them. The Lords is an unelected rabble who should have NO say in what affects the general public. Take away their expenses and the chamber will be permanantly empty

  13. This is another legalised con pulled by MP's against the public, don't forget they are seeking a further £1500 a year in salary.  If Brown want to do something to prove he could lead the country he could put all this in order, the money he would save might give the pensioners a little more that cannot afford to live let alone ride in a taxis and in many cases they cannot even walk.  I thought of a new motto for the Government.  Self first self last and self all along.  Mind you I expect they all get it!
