umm you might think its bs and you might think im crazy but listen to this last night when i had my telescope i seen something shining but i dont know if it was a star or what so i checked it out it was red like nothing i ever spoted in the sky and most of the time theres more then one star out but not last night but it was really red and big no one wanted to believe me so mabe the pictures of the sun and nibiru are true what do you think??

can you guesstimate what constellation it was in?

how about its magnitude?

"I pointed my telescope up and saw it" isnt very helpful.

Take heed, but fear not young one for 2012 is just the revealing of the 'antichrist' or the 'man of lawlessness' at the middle of what Jews and Christians call the 7 year Tribulation. Many pagan cultures (Sumerians, Babylonians, Cherokee, Hopi, Chinese I-Ching {confirmed by T.McKenna}, Mayans, Egyptians, Celts, Satanists, etc...) celebrate this evil event called "the abomination that causes desolation". When will Yeshua Ha'Mashiach (Jesus) come? Only God Himself knows, but soon. If you believe or not, that is up to you. Either way it still comes.

I would be surprised that you are the only person in the world who has seen Nibiru. Millions of amateur astronomers, some having specifically looked for it, have not seen it.

However, it is difficult to understand what object you saw,  from the information you give.

There are red stars out there.  Not many, but still, they can be very red.  These days, the brightest red star visible is Antares, in the constellation of Scorpio.  It is relatively low in the South in the evening for people in Northern temperate zone (northern parts of USA, southern part of Canada).

Antares is easily seen with the naked eye (except when clouds get in the way, of course).  Therefore, it would appear quite bright (and that is usually interpreted as "big") in a telescope.

The part about cloud is not a joke.  Over the last two weeks, even when the sky allowed some stars to be seen, we always had a bank of clouds low to the south.  I finally got to see Antares only 2 days ago.
