Its all tongue in cheek with ACDC. l have toured with bands and seen how the women behave and well, i can see where the inspiration comes from.

Kind of missed that whole genre...but AC DC means you swing both ways sexually so I'm guessing that means they were into that?

I don't know them personally. But i know one thing for sure they've had some excellent songs. You shook me all night long is probably one of their best.

Bon Scott was married and had a great wife while he was in the band! They make awesome music, what the h**l is wrong with AC/DC? Yeah Angus is a little **** but he always has been, my mum grew up with him and remembers, he was always a joker. I love AC/DC I think they are a great bunch of blokes!

Never liked any of their music so paid no attention to them.  Thought they looked like idiots (As a teenager I preferred the goth thing).

As I have never paid attention to them i don't know their take on male-female relationships, so I can't really comment.  What is their take?

And how do i get the spell checker up? It was there telling me I had a mistake and I didn't fix it straight away and now it's gone! Better make another typo.

Acca Dacca are legends of Australian rock.

Doesn't worry me what they sing about, if they wanna call women sheilas or compare them to cars, it's all tongue in cheek and a part of Aussie culture.  Not much fazes Aussie gals.

I adore AC/DC and feel that free expression of thought in the form of music should only be advanced, not suppressed as it leads to a slippery slope.

AC/DC is a great band. Of course, speaking from the context of there time. I have no idea what people think of them today, the club scene probably grooves to a very different beat, lol.

For me, It's A Long Way To The Top and You Shook Me All Night Long are two of the greatest rock songs of all time. Maybe THE greatest of my era.

As for their take on 'gender relations', well ... this is a group of men who are heavy drinkers, drug takers and emotionally dysfunctional.

I don't think they'd be the musicians they were and are without having a lot of pain and confusion to draw on.

And I'm pretty sure most of us can relate to that, even if we don't share their conclusions.
