My husband keeps talking about wanting to go to Argentina. I have never been there, and I was just wondering if any of you had.

So, what is great to do and see there?

  1. It's great to see workers taking control of companies that went under during the IMF crisis.

  2. Hi. I'm from Argentina.

I think my country is beautiful, we've got beaches, mountains, waterfalls, lakes, forests, jungles, the Moon Valley and the Perito Moreno Glacier...

In Buenos Aires there is a great nightlife, and there is a lot of people who can speak English as a second language. If you go to Patagonia, you can go to Bariloche (the most beautiful city in Argentina, in my opinion) or Ushuaia, the most southern city in the world.

If you or your husband like soccer, you can go to watch a match in the stadium, here in Buenos Aires; Argentinian people like me love football soccer.

If you like tango, you could come to Buenos Aires too... There's a lot of museums, and is a very cultural city.

Well, if you want to know anything about Argentina, e-mail me. My e-mail is mel_river_plate@hotmail.com.

  3. I was just there a few weeks ago. It was great. I was mostly in Buenos Aires, but I had a great time. It's very European looking, it's inexpensive, lot's of great things to see, the people are easy on the eyes, good food, modern, relatively safe, with the exchange rate it works out to be a great deal now. I would go again. They have the arts, they are big on Tango, some great South

American artists, lots of great architechture, I hear Iguacu is incredible, though I didn't make it there. I did have a day trip to Uraguay which was very nice. Go, it's great.
