What do you think of Bajak claim of Time Travel Circuit ?

what is your opinion about his findings other than hes crazy?

Someday time travel will be more than possible. Even if it just viewing it. You might not be able to go back and experience it and interact, but I am sure you could see it. If light travels at a  certain speed, then what you would see would be that far behind. SO it is logically possible to see the earth a million years ago.

Who knows if there aren't people from the future here? LOL. I think I have heard alot of them right on here. LOL.

If it is possible, to much damage could be unintentionally done by physical time travel.  I would think it would be better to work on "Remote viewing" time travel.  This way a person can be assured they are only an observer, an can in no way effect the past time line!

I believe that there is the possibility of time travel, but i don't think i would try it myself.  I'm far too much of a klutz, and I also don't always make the best decisions.  With my luck I would go and seriously s***w something up.  Geez, sorry kids.  I didn't mean to s***w up your college scholarship.  Although there are somethings I would change.  Can I take somebody along with? I would have my husband cured of his heart disease.  Right now we can't even get him the second bypass surgery he needs.  h**l, I'll settle for that.  I'm afraid to ask for too much anymore.......

A temporal flux capacitor?  And it runs off of a little battery instead of a 2.1 gigawatt blast or "Mr. Fusion"?  Who would have thought we would have come so far since the movie!

The circuit, BTW, is a very simple one.  Looks like a phonograph needle circuit.  But what would I know?  All I've ever done is *build* circuits like this when I was teaching electricity.  Two SPST switches, (turn things off and on).  Two standard resistors, (prevent short circuits and divide voltage.)  One potentiometer, (variable resistor: just a k**b for manual current control).  Capacitor, (frequency controlled resistor, used in almost all circuits that involve frequency modulation, even in your lawn mower ignition, called a condenser).  Piezoelectric crystal: (probably like the one in a phonograph needle.  Generates tiny voltages in response to physical vibrations.)

No, I don't think this guy is crazy.  I think he has a great tongue-in-cheek sense of humor.  Very creative and very much like those who really claim such nonsense.  I suspect, like me, he has read many such stories, from UFOs to ghosts.  He gives clues through the obvious exaggeration of certain anecdotes.

Actually, it's kind of unfair to people like you, (many, MANY of them), who are awed by extraordinary possibilities, but just lack a specific kind of knowledge related to the claim: in this case, electronic circuitry.  I know, it's frustrating to get your hopes up about the possibility of such a thing, but if it was true, it would be in the news all week long.

Lucas C, good point about capacitance.  It's only the measure of charge that the capacitor can hold.  The energy was already there and came from the battery.  So do you agree this looks like a phono needle circuit?  Or am I way off base there?  BTW, 1215 uF seems kind of big (and slow) for that circuit.  Whaddya think?

On second thought, some people really are just that crazy.  George Hammond and his "Scientific Proof of God."  The flat earth people.  I knew a guy who tried to convince a patent attorney and a physicist from Georgetown Univ, that he had built a simple *working* hydrogen fusion reactor.  (1971).  He even got me to machine some electrodes for his next model, (since the first one blew up or something.)  That's when I began learning about people like this.

"Anything is possible" is one of the most commonly used New Age myths.  If you utter those magical words you can turn the world upside down.  The universe becomes your own personal playground.  Laws of the universe are suspended just for you.  Physics?  Gone!  Biology?  Gone!  Mathematics?  Gone!

No, actually, anything/everything is *not* possible.

First of all, Time is not an actual thing. It is a perception. It is a perception that we monitor by using a regulated device that moves constantly at a certain rate so that it allow our perception to feel that it is a thing. But it is not.

You can drive somewhere with an irritating person and time seems to drag, but you switch persons and travel with someone you enjoy to be with and time flies. But you look at your watch and it didn't catch the difference, you only perceived the difference.

Time goes slower in Jail waiting for your release time in 42 days, but your car tags are due in the same amount of time and it seems like tomorrow.

Time travel works like this. You can perceive that you travel in what you perceive as time.

There is also the Einstein Theory where you go out into space and when you return, you are slightly older and everyone you knew has died years ago.

As far as building a machine, that would not be possible. The machine would have to affect something and you cannot put time into a machine because it doesn't exist.

If anything, you would have to die and return in a different time.

Just for shiggles, I took a look at the site.  I spotted one major problem right off the bat:

Microfarad is a unit of capacitance, not energy.  Capacitance is the amount of charge that can be stored between two parallel plates at a given electric potential.  Since the author has trouble distinguishing between capacitance and energy (and this is REALLY a very basic physics concept), I wouldn't take anything else he says seriously.

KBW3...Ha ha...I'm afraid I can't tell you whether 1216 microfarads is too much capacitance for anything.  I know what capacitance is, but that's about where my knowledge stops.  It doesn't extend over to the practical side of things, I'm afraid.

Dave S...Where did you get the idea that time doesn't exist?  Of course it does!  You use words like "rate" in your response, and a rate is simply a change in one value compared to a change in time.  For example, speed is a change in distance compared to a change in time.  You can't have rates without time.  The Universe doesn't work without time, for that matter.  Saying time doesn't exist...I'm sorry to have to tell you this: that's absolutely wrong.

A piece of shelving?  Just how exactly does this machine distinguish between this piece of shelving and the things sitting on it?  What about the air around it or the wall behind it?  This sort of idea works in old sci-fi movies, and in poorly conceived fiction, but not in the real world.  Even if time travel was possible, this Bajak character clearly is not going to be the person to figure it out.
