I think both was B/S overall. But it was his fault that he broke his wrist with Sylvia. If that didn't happen, maybe things would of been different. But, there's no what ifs so yeah. But I still think that his latest fight had a dumba** referee

  1. Vera had size troubles with Big Tim + the wrist break.  He had Tim side mounted up against the cage and did nothing, so I don't care that he lost.  The fans are who really lost that fight.

As far as his last fight, I was unimpressed but he's never fought at 205 til then so it could've had to do with 1) the weightcut and 2) the short notice.  People don't realize how bad a short notice fight can mess with you.  Can you imagine if Vera fought Wanderlei that night?  Wanderlei was rumored to have been offered Vera and he said that such short notice (keep in mind that fight card was only put on to draw attention away from Affliction: Banned), and Vera did the opposite and signed a fight he probably could've did a better job preparing for if given proper time.

As of now rumor is his next fight is Jardine in October which should* be a war since both should be wanting to prove they're better than their last performances.

  2. Well in his fight with timmy I thought Brandon won the first 2 rounds...as did alot of other website play-by-plays...But hey **** goes down like that look at the Bisping/Hammil fight for ex...Well not really because the Tim/Brandon fight was way closer...And the fight with Werdum...I think it was stoped to early...Who knows whut would have happened if it went into the 3rd?...And as for his most recent fight with Andy...I think Vera did well for his first fight at a lower weight...And if you go back and watch when a fighter drops a weight class they seem to have a bad first fight at that class...Other then that it has been confirmed by a soure inside both camps of Vera and Jardine that they will be fighting at UFC89 or 90...

  3. The good thing is that he won his last fight so he gets to stay in the UFC.  Hopefully, we'll get to see him showcase his real skills in the near future.  However, his last two fights were definitely sub-par.  One of them was stopped prematurely, the other one was when he was holding back to play it safe.
