  1. I think it's great. Favre probably still doesn't know what hit him. Playing for the Jets wasn't what he had in mind when he started this whole charade. Good for the Packers.

  2. You never now what will happen until it does.  Of course we all know this.  The fact of the matter is Brett Favre is the most exciting player in football.  You never know what he may do, but you do know he will always be there.  This all comes down to playing football that is the one thing people don't understand.  It's not about salary caps, records, who's right, or any of that stuff.  Brett has proven that it's about the pigskin.  He's loaded and he has all the records.  Go Favre get the Jets to playoffs and have a world of a time doing it.  As for the Packers well they think there right.  And if they are then McCarthy and Thompson will have statues and streets with there names on it.  If they don't win the Super Bowl well?  I'll put it this way we ask who is under the most pressure in all of this and the clear answer is McCarthy and Thompson.  Don't worry guys the Dolphins will be hiring.

  3. I'm a Packer fan but I'm glad to say good riddance.  Yes Favre was a great player and was one of the best quarterbacks ever but his time has come.  Had he not chosen to retire in the first place I would think differently, but all the drama thats been going on about this summer really made me glad he's with the Jets.  Rodgers is still green when it comes to playing but once he has time to grow, I feel he will be just as good as Brett.

I really think that the only reason Brett "retired" was to get out of Green Bay.  He'd been there for 16  years and he just wanted a change.  Everyone would had they been doing the same thing for 16 years.  He also was the oldest player on the team and all his original team mates weren't with the Packers anymore either.  Let him play where he is.  I look forward to the new Packer season.  Just because Brett isn't there anymore doesn't mean I'm going to abandon the team.

  4. well im not sure how this is gonna go. wut if he doesnt like it in new york and he decieds to retire again? but i dont think aaron rodgers is better than favre. but favre has an OK offense in new york. coles will be his #1 reciver, and their running back is thomas jones. who is a great back. so we'll jus have to see in week 1 if this trade was worth it

  5. I think that's awesome to see a great player like Favre, continuing to play and more interesting to see him in a new uniform. Even more interesting to see how the season unfolds with all eyes on the Jets. Now, I'm also curious if the long-time loyal Packer fans would trash Favre like Eagle fans did to T.O with the name calling and burning of his jersey.

  6. I wrote a blog about it

  7. I think it is awesome.I know some perople that live in Green Bay and they were madrback.I bet now they are just mad.I think the organiztion did everything they possibly could to bring things to a peacefull ending. How many organizations would offer a player 20 million bucks to retire with their team.Favre has a right to play if he wants to but I really do think it was pretty crappy how he kept retiring and comming back.I can understand as a business how frustrating that must have been.If we applied this to our life and work what companies would put up with what Favre did?None of them.I think Favre is an awesome guy but this is were Athletes and Politicians and the upper eshelon act larger than life.As common man we could never get away with such a thing.I guess this is his right so yeah Favre we are all proud of you. What a story of cry wolf and looking a gift horse in the mouth.

  8. i hope this trade cripples there franchise packers suck go bolts

  9. As a Packer fan I'm not happy that he's not a Packer any longer. As I New Yorker, I'm glad he's on the Jets.

  10. ill be a jet fan now and i will watch every single jet game! im a big Favre fan and always will be.

  11. i hope he sucks on the jets

  12. He NEEDS to retire, Even if, Jets suck so he probobly won't make a difference

  13. Well, like I was told on getting hired for my first job:  "We need some good help around here, & you'll do until we find it!"

  14. I thought that he should have gone ahead and stayed retired, and also thought that he was less than classy in dealing with the Packers. But I have no reason to do anything other than wish him well.

  15. LAME
