I have to admit coming out of retirement to play hockey made Brett Favre look like a nutcase. Although I guess Toronto was willing to pay so he thought why not be the oldest two sport player. To be honest I think he is hoping to be the second string so that he won't have to focus so much on playing football.

Well ESPN, and all other sport channels including the news have said that the Packers were offering 20 millions dollars for Brett Favre to stay retired over the next 10 years, but Brett really wants to be back.  He didn't go to the Packers camp because his agent and the manager I think said they should wait and hold on also because he has to be reinstated to the roster or the 40 men playing.  The reason why they wanted to wait was because after the put him in the roster they have 24 hours to decided other wise to trade him or to keep him.  Even though they wouldn't have him as the head quarterback he would most likely be the back up for Andy.  The Packer people have been worried of trading him to because Brett has talked to the Minnesota Vikings and along with other teams too, but they think that if they let Brett go that he will automaticly sign with the Vikings. Which would be funny because he has been on there rival team for most of his career.  But yeah hes being reinstated and I think that hes trying to get lots of attention I wish they would just pick to keep Brett or to trade him to another team.  They have a contract with him till 2011 so thats why Brett Farve doesn't have a strong choice of what he can do.

I guess when you get older, your mind starts to give out on you. This should be a warning sign for him to quit football to quit getting concussions, so his mind doesn't deteriorate any more.
