  1. It could be worse...

Barney, Teletubbies, Boohbah, Yo Gabba Gabba...just try to get him interested in different things.  And don't, I repeat DON'T ever let him watch the shows listed above!  I keep my son away from things that I know will annoy me to no end.

  2. I never cared for it when I was young. I thought it was dull, and Caillou annoyed me.

I guess kids can relate well to the situations?

  3. at least it isnt doodlebops thirty times a day... gotta get rid of tivo

  4. lol. i remember when i use to watch that show. & now that i think about it, i have no idea why i watched it because now those talking animals is the most annoying thing ever. But i guess its funny for little kids and after a while you just get used to watching it . . .

  5. becasue it is telling them to yell at their guardians. caillou is spoiled and a brat!

  6. My kids watch Caillou sometimes and I am actually considering not having them watch it anymore.  It seems to me that Caillou always gets his way and he whines alot and that is not how I want my kids to think things work just because it works for him.

  7. I think that there is usually a great lesson in the episodes for  little kids expressed in a way they are able to understand.  However, I totally agree with you - I was so thankful when my youngest child stopped watching it.  I couldn't stand his (Caillou's) whining anymore!  The other show that really wierded me out was Tele Tubbies - Creepy!

  8. That bloody theme song...it's so catchy...great, now it's in my head again. Thank you very much. : P

  9. h**l im 14 and i love it

  10. I like the show.  The only reason is, is because he spends a lot of time with his Dad.  My sons are missing their Dad a lot who is in Iraq so it makes me feel better hoping that watching Caillou and his Dad will make the remember the fun they have with Daddy and maybe help make the transition when he comes home easier..............maybe it's just wishful thinking though?

  11. i cant stand that show, the kid is spoiled, thats why my bother in law is a brat, hes watched that show non stop when he was younger, and hes a a spoiled brat now, i never let my daughter watch it.

  12. I used 2 love it wen I was little. I would watch it like 5 times a day :)

It the way they present the story and images.

the scenes are always bright and colorful and happy with a little music. They present it kinda like a bed time story :)

it easy for little children to relate to and understand more, too.

  13. haha im 13 and i still like it.. im sorry but this kid is so cute. but for people younger than me like 5-8, i guess they can just relate to the kid haha. its kinda funny when he gets mad at rosie =]

  14. I hate that show!! Caillou acts like a big baby. That show just doesn't depict real life at all. It's like a Fairytale. He whines when he doesn't get his way and then he gets his way. That kid has a perfect life. I can't relate to that kid and never could. The kids I babysit can't relate to him either. But they love him. Caillou really doesn't teach anything valuable to its viewers. Only rich kids can relate to Caillou. That show does not talk about things that happen to regular people. It talks about kids who have the perfect life. That kid is the most spoiled kid in the whole television world. Kids copy the things they see on TV.  I don't  really like any baby shows. I really hate Dora The Explorer. That too is a fairytale. In real life 7 year olds aren't allowed to go off by themselves. Dora teaches kids that just saying "Swiper no swiping"three times will keep people from stealing their stuff. Yeah right. It doesn't matter what you do, people will still steal anyway. Dora is like a dream where nothing could hurt you. Kids need to learn about real life ,not about fairytale worlds like Dora and Caillou. Go Diego Go does the same thing those other shows do. No matter what you do pumas will attack other animals anyway.  I hate those shows soooo much.

  15. My daughter use to like this show when she was younger too. I hated it. I think it teaches them that if they whine they get their way. I know in the end that they learn some valuable lessons but if they don't watch all the way to the end then all they see is the whining  and that is what they will pick up on.
