  1. Death Note was definitely a masterpiece. And I agree with you, all the popularity is annoying. But that just proves how great Death Note is. I love all the teeny tiny details that actually plays a really huge role in the series. x] aha. And after L died, it just wasn't as good without him. :| Still, Death Note still kept me at the edge of my seat wondering what's going to happen next. Every episode always, somehow, have a seen that catches me off guard. Gahh, I love it.<3

    :D

  2. it is pretty cool but i don't like how dark and evil it is...i will however see the movie when it hits canada

  3. Death Note is amazing I love it, I can't believe no one around you likes it!, what's not to like!

I do hate how popular is suddenly got, just like Naruto and Bleach, that's why I don't watch them, and never have, cause they are way to popular, and I don't want to be all In love with them like everyone else, I don't really like them anyway (only watched like..a minute of each..so sorry If you do love those two animes)

  4. I was really astounded and captivated by the intricate plot and the writer's maniacal Light Yagami as well as Misa. I could not get off the computer for the first 16-17 episodes however after L is killed and Yagami takes on as L's successor, it got much less tense and I was unsure of weather to keep on watching it. Through periods of boredom I successfully got through the anime as the plot got increasingly stronger.

Sincerely I believe that it is overall a wonderful story that reveals in a very dramatic, almost too precise the dark side within everyone...that hunger for power at the cost of anything. Light was not corrupt prior to opening the deathnote and being exposed to Ryuk. However, after witnessing the power the damned note wielded he seized the oopportunityto change the world even if it meant losing everyone and everything at the end.

    DEFINITELY WATCH IT. IT's GREAT!

    I also recommend

    Claymore

    Monster

    and Gantz (mature).

  5. Fad, After 'L' Died it got Repetitive & boring.  I think they should have ended it there.

  6. it's cool and interesting in the beginning, you want to know if kira will win. but a s i kept reading i got bored. it's just to dang long!

    but still, it's a masterpiece

  7. Well it was really good but I mean L dies like half way through... and then so many people are obsessed with Matt and he was only on for like 20 seconds.... you can't even see his face!

Personally, I think they could have put a better ending on it....

  8. I really like it. It's very awesome but I was very very sad when L died. The manga is fantastic, a little confusing but it all works out in the end. The live action movies are OK....it's a bit different from the manga

  9. I love it! Such a cool anime! It is my favorite anime, no matter what anybody says. I don't care if it isn't popular or not, let them be stuck with their other little anime, while I watch the greatest one out there! Even though sad, at the ending, I still will always cherish this anime! Impressive work it gots!
