What do you think of Democratic state representative hiring illegal could this of been prevented if the illegal stayed home and why after a crime is it no problem to return home they flee to it?NEAR MISSION - Police say a suspected illegal immigrant working for a Democratic state representative brutally beat another man to death with a bat Monday morning.

Froylen Casares, 24, was working at a ranch owned by state Rep. Kino Flores near the intersection of North Tropser and Yukon Roads when he killed a young Hispanic male whose name authorities have not released, said Hidalgo County Sheriff Lupe Treviño.

"It was a very bloody, very bloody, very gruesome crime scene," Treviño said.

Authorities continue to search for Casares, of Honduras, who fled the scene before they arrived at about 5:30 a.m. Flores, who has owned the ranch for eight years and uses it to ride his horses, said he hired the man without checking his background because he didn't appear to be an illegal immigrant.

  1. If I was a voter there, I would not only be voting for Flores opponent, I would be volunteering to assist in the opponent's campaign. An elected official swears an oath of office to uphold the law, not facilitate violations of it.

Everyone needs to get the idea, if illegals weren't here, they could not commit any crimes here. We have enough crime without compounding it with illegals and no, our own crime rate does not mitigate crimes committed by illegals. Our crime rate is a good justification for ridding the US of all illegals, so our law enforcement and courts can deal more effectively with our own criminals.

  2. He's a representative who is in the habit of lying.  Representatives seem to always be in fear for their life, property, family, and other.  They always check the background of whom they intend on hiring.  Flores is just another representative who is protecting his own backside.

  3. Their cracking down on company's to people who hire maids in their house why not. The law was broke hit him for accessory to murder too. But it will not happen hes in goverment and the guy was a illegal so that makes it legal.

  4. I feel it was his duty to check this guy out. However, I think this sort of thing can happen to any of us. Say I had a guy cut my lawn who was named John Smith and turned out to be an illegal immigrant from Canada and who also happened to be involved in a bloody murder. Should I be held accountable? I just want you to look at this through a different perspective by changing the color of skin of the partys involved. Would you feel any different if your the one who hired the illegal?

  5. Flores's denial is another example of corruption amongst our legislatures. Do you really believe that he is going to admit that he broke a law?
