He stated that he "did not hit Keselowski under caution, Keselowski hit him", and he said that these younger drivers need to earn the respect of those veterans who have more experience, which implied himself.

  1. Hamlin's hilarious! He's not even close to being a "veteran", he's still a newby!

He better get a clue soon. If he can't race with rookies he better find a day job.

  2. just covering his a$$

  3. Who told Hamlin he was a veteran? Keselowski did in fact bump the back of the "veteran's" car under caution. What veteran move is it to pull along side another car and flatten the body work. That was his throwing back a concrete block I guess. Jr pulled up ( he is  veteran) and started to slam Hamlin and realized he was driving his own car and all the damage was coming out of his pocket.

  4. Not much.  His comments just reinforced my low opinion of him.  Why JR Motorsports was penalized, but Hamlin and his team wasn't is beyond me.

  5. Hmmm, I do not consider Denny Hamlin a "veteran" driver. Just because you race in the cup series doesn't make you a veteran. He is ignorant and arrogant.

  6. And your point is what exactly? Brad did hit him under caution so Denny hit him back. I can't even believe you people are still going on about this on here. The whole incident was SO LAST WEEK!

  7. Ummm....yeah....

    Absolutely classless.

If you don't want to have to deal with these younger drivers who WILL race you hard - DON'T DRIVE IN THE NATIONWIDE SERIES!!!

Keselowski was right and Hamlin is a punk - PERIOD!!!!!

....BTW, I have the video saved and it VERY clearly shows Hamlin INTENTIONALLY fall back and hit Keselowski while under caution. Brad had the faster car and Denny knew it, so he fixed that little "problem" by taking out the #88's fender. He knew he couldn't win fair-and-square so he CHEATED! (at least that's what it seems like)

Seems to be the new motto at Joe Gibbs Racing - "If you can't beat 'em - wreck 'em!" Where's the old "Coach" Gibbs?

....Amen, Lynn!, And exactly what is he claiming to have learned from Mark Martin? It sure as h**l isn't manners, respect, etiquette,..... He has only learned how to be the polar opposite of everything Mark Martin is in our sport.

  8. Yes, Denny is punk, just like Jason said...Denny if you only want to race with the big Cup guys, well duh don't drive Nationwide....I'm so over Denny Hamlin....Grow up or Shut up..

    Go Brad & Jr Motorsports

  9. I'm really beside myself with Denny this year.  This is a driver that I was actually liking alot last year, and he's just totally pissed me off this year.

Some folks comment on Tony feeling threatened by Kyle, but the truth is, I'm really starting to feel that Denny is the one that is feeling threatened.

He needs to get his head out of his butt.

  10. he was a little more coherent and made a little more sense, but that's not saying a lot.  what he said about mark martin (and how he learned from him) was most interesting as well.

  11. Two things you can comment on when Denny gives an interview.

    1) He will have that permanent dumb look on his face

    2) He will make an a$$ out of himself.

He is NOT a veteran driver. This is his 3rd full season in cup, he's still a noob.

  12. If Denny hamlin's a veteran cup driver who is in the position to teach anybody, I'm a riceburner fan!! (Not...)
