What do you think of FORD EXPLORER SPORT TRACS? ANY OWNERS ? HOW IS THE GAS MILAGE?

Those trucks are AMAZING! The ride is smooth. Nice anterior. Comfortable. Gas mileage is iffy.

Good cars.  They get an average of about 18-19 mpg (6 cyl version).  The rear of course is pretty small.  Unless you need the truck bed, I would go with the regular Explorer, but they are pretty well made and we've never had a problem except for a popped off emergency brake handle and that was minor.

I have a 2005 model.  I have had no problems.  I have two boys which was perfect then, I could even fit there 4-wheeler in the back.  Now I am expecting and will get something bigger within a year of the birth just b/c I am sure I will need more room for different things.  Plus we moved from the country to the city so the 4-wheeler and stuff is not so important.  My husband has a full size quad cab so we need an SUV for obvious reasons.  Anyway, I have loved my truck since I got it.  The gas mileage is not bad either.  I have a 6 cylinder and I get over 20 mpg on a trip, I'm thinking about 21-22.  In town and just normal driving back and forth more like 17-18 mpg.  It's better than I thought it would have been.  I will be glad to help with anymore details.
