What do you think of Floyd Mayweather's claim?

He rags on about being "The Best Fighter Ever", apparently he has never heard of ULTIMATE FIGHTING CHAMPIONSHIP, hey Floyd if you're such Barney Bad @$$, just step into the octagon against Rampage jackson, Randy Couture, Chuck Liddell, Frank Mir, any one of these guys would eat you as an appetizer!

Floyd is way more skilled than any of those guys that you just mentioned.  Boxing is way more close to REAL fighting anyway because in MMA all they do is hold each other on the ground until somebody quits.  As for Floyd being the best of all time, theres no way- he is unquestionably the best today, but the all-time honor goes to the great Sugar Ray Robinson.

i hate Mayweather but when he says that he is the best fight in the world he means in boxing. mma is cool but i rather watch boxing hands down

Floyd is an excellent boxer. UFC fighters cannot Box! They cannot fight just throwing punches. They rely on all forms of fighting ... Mixed martial arts. They need to use their elbows, knees, legs, etc. Mayweather would knock them into tomorrow.

i think when he says the best fighter ever he means in boxing. i dont know why all u mma fans always say stuff like this boxing is by far the bigger sport hense the reason this section is called boxing and not mma. floyd is much more talented than any of those boring mma bums

There is a flip side to that coin.  In the "Squared Circle" Floyd would beat any of the fighters mentioned in this question. It's apples and oranges, it just depents on which fruit you prefer!

Dude when it comes to boxing skills none of the guys you mentioned comes close to Floyd, you are just jumping on the band wagon, moreover Floyd is richer than all the fighters you mentioned combined.

Boxing and MMA are two completely different sports. Both types of fighters especially if they are champions are highly skilled but should not be compared.
