  1. It is false . Look at the oil Co. making billions .

  2. My thoughts on the subject are that as of yet I personally have'nt seen any indicators that there are any changes whatsoever in climatic conditions. Until that happens I will continue in believing that it is not happening.

Of course I expect there will be some climatic change, there always has been since the world was formed.

As we are of a generation that has been educated in a system that teaches us what to think we are prone to believing in that which we are told and as a result we are developing a neurosis about environmental issues.

    Who do we believe?

The Green lobby and their supporting scientists and more latterly the politicians who see an excellent revenue raising opportunity or those of us that are waiting for the first signs that it is happening.

  3. Global warming is the warming up of the planet above the temperature it "should" be. It is such a concern at the moment as it seems that the temperature is rising at a rate far faster than ever before and it is thought that it may be the activities of the human population over the last 150 years or so that is doing it.

Global warming is the single biggest threat to wildlife today.

Scientists have told us that we must reduce global warming pollution by 80% by 2050 to avoid the worst impacts of global warming. They have set the goal, now we have to set the pace. We can get there by reducing global warming pollution by 2% every year for the next 40 years.

The Antarctic Peninsula is particularly sensitive to small rises in the annual average temperature, this has increased about 2.5C in the region in the last 50 years, this is 2 or 3 times faster than the average in the rest of the world. The temperature of Antarctica as a whole is predicted to rise by a small amount over the next 50 years. Any increase in the rate of ice melting is expected to be at least partly offset by increased snowfall as a result of the warming.

  4. Its the front for this - New World Order!!!

Both sides of the controversy have alleged that access to funding has played a role in the willingness of credentialed experts to speak out.

  5. It might be true, but it's a cyclical thing NOT CAUSED BY MAN.  The attempt to paint the correlation between increased CO2 and global warming is just an attempt by socialist, Marxists to control our behavior.

The sun is the biggest cause.  Hence, this year saw the coldest winter for the Northern Hemisphere over the last 50 years, caused by lack of sun spot activity according to scientists.  I heard that most of the ice that melted in the Arctic is back.

Also, you don't hear much mentioned about Antarctica when the Global Warming doom sayers speak.  Because Antarctica has the greatest ice and snow depths ever measured right now.

  6. I really don't know if it's real or not. I think maybe it's propaganda to buy green products. Green products do not help the earth because they are still manufactured in plants and require transportation. Transportation is a huge producer of pollution. Even simple, organically grown produce has to be shipped thousands of miles. Also, all the paving is a huge heat magnet. Black attracts heat, and the loss of vegetation gives the sun's heat free rein directly on the planet. There's so much awareness of global warming brough to us from politicians, media, and manufactures, but nothing is changing. The extent of changing necessary would have to be huge,  and people don't want to give up cars, electricity, their suburban homes, and have to grow their own food. And there's really not enough data to say we have global warming. I think the people who are reporting about global warming have a financial interest in "green" products (that aren't even really green if you think about the manufacturing and shipping of the product.) The bottom line to me is that I'm just going to live my life, trust God that He's going to take care of things His way, and make the best choices that I can within my circumstances. The world will go on.

  7. Global warming is, or at least was, real.  It is a cyclical process that is continually ongoing.  The earth is always either warming or cooling.  Man-made global warming is not only false, but a scam.

Huge amounts of research have shown that the earth has warmed and cooled, independent of man, ever since it formed 4.5 bya.  The roman warm period and medieval warm period both showed temperatures and CO2 levels higher than what we're seeing today.

The latest NASA satellite data is also showing that average global temperature stopped increasing in 1998 and has actually been decreasing since 2004.  During this same period CO2 levels have been increasing, so this would seem to shoot down the idea that CO2 is driving warming.

People who are not invested in the global warming hysteria will tell you that global warming is driven by the Milankovitch Cycle, which has to do with the earths location, and attitudinal position in relation to the sun (100,000 year cycle that seems to coincide with major cooling cycles) and with the level of sunspot activity.

Finally, I would like to point out that CO2 is not a pollutant.  This compound is absolutely essential to all life on this planet.  In many biomes this is one of the key limiting nutrients for growth.  If you want to list a greenhouse gas as a pollutant, lets list the dominant one, water vapor (95% of all greenhouse gas).

  8. Global warming is occurring, but the human contribution to global warming is negligible. Granted, we could do alot to clean things up atmosphere-wise, but as far as the  gradual global warming going on right now- it's an entirely natural occurrence and part of the orbital cycles of the sun and the Earth.
