What do you think of Gordon Brown?

He's a big guy.

He also has the unfortunate fate that he shares with Bush.

Very few seem to like him.

he reminds me of the Canadian Prime Minister, Paul Martin, who was also the finance minister and became prime minister when John Cretian stepped down to retire.

Martin was the greatest finance minister Canada ever had but was one of the worst Prime Ministers. This is the same way I view Gordon Brown. He will be sadly defeated come election time.
