I guess it's pretty sad but I did not cry

Reasons why watch this film . .

Because the films show the sufferings of two little children who have nothing to do with the war. The movies shows the pain and suffering brought by a war.

And The way Seito protected her sister from everything even if it is only a way to forget his despair was so touching and I really like it.

The film shows how people survive in times of wars and the thing that made my heart broke was when her sister offer her rocks thinking it was Onigiri (rice balls) and sucking marbles for candy and what made me unhappy is why did Seito live his sister alone he could have bring her does he think her sister could live alone and her sister ate mud thinking it is a food...

Watched it for the first time on friday night. I thought it was excellent. but really sad.

It is one of the finest , and poignant , films ever produced - sublime and moving .

It was very painful to watch, especially the ending. One excellent movie I probably can't ever bear to watch again.
