From Hillary's office:

We should all be proud of Governor Sarah Palin's historic nomination, and I congratulate her and Senator McCain. While their policies would take America in the wrong direction, Governor Palin will add an important new voice to the debate.

  1. She be happy Obama gone lose and she can run in 12.

  2. This is a classy response from Hillary.

While she disagrees with conservative politics, she can still congratulate another woman on securing a VP nomination.  Even if it is just a political stunt, Hillary didn't have to do it.  I'm glad she did.

  3. How is it historic? Geraldine beat Sarah to it years ago.

  4. Typical insult formed around a supposed compliment. What a bee-atch.

  5. Hillary shook Sarah's hand and kicked her in the leg at the same time.

  6. The Palin choice makes McCain look so chauvinistic that he could very well lose the vote of every woman with any dignity in the nation.

The Democrats have nothing to lose by taking the high road. (it provides a panoramic view of the melt-down anyway)

  7. HA HA HA HA HA,  i LOVE it!!!!!!

  8. Typical Hillary, the cankled one couldn't take the high road an go stab in the back less, like Palin did yesterday when she gave props to the cankled old gal and Geraldine Ferraro.  Ferraro said she about fell out of her chair when she heard Palin pay her tribute, she was so surprised and honored.

  9. It is quite the typical political statement .

  10. Basic political response.  Nothing strange.  Nothing to be gained by trying to rip her (Palin) apart, just let it ride.

  11. She said that? Wow, some congratulations.

  12. Nice? True? Complimentary?

  13. she's trying to show support for palin being a woman, but she just HAS to add that "their policies would take america in the wrong direction". i think it's not sincere at all. as much as she says she supports the 'woman empowerment' thing, she just used this as an opportunity to voice her dislike for republican views. get some class.

  14. She may as well have just stuck her tongue out at Palin as they passed each other in the hall.  Same sentiment.

  15. Typical political statement.  However, since Palin simply applauded Hillary in her efforts (leaving out any attack), Hillary should have followed the lead and left off the jab.  It would have been classier.
