are they actually an accurate way of finding out how smart people are? are they fair?the particular problem solving required to answer the question are completely different from any problem solving we would encounter day to day, or in school very often. is it fair and accurate to expose someone to a whole new way of problem solving under a time limit and expect them to score well?also, aren't there many different ways people learn and process information. couldn't there be people who are extremely intelligent but process the problem solving separate than the "traditional" way and score poorly?
