Ichigo (ee she go) it means 'Strawberry' in Japanese. I am wondering if it woudl make a nice middle name. Do you think its pretty, and different, or just weird? I am not sure of the gender, and haven't picked a first name because I just found out I am pregnant. I like more classic names for the first so it would be something much more fimilar. Any thoughts?

(btw I am Irish/Swedish not Japanese I just like the sound of the name)

  1. It's wierd and I don't like it.

  2. I don't really like it, but it is Unique

  3. I think it is pretty but I think it would be odd for a family without any Japanese heritage.

  4. YES!!!!! i love that name its from bleach a japanese animie show its super popular and itchigo is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOT!!!

  5. I think it's very pretty and unique. I would go for it. I think Imani Ichigo, Iona Ichigo, or Holly Ichigo are all great names. I also think Grace Ichigo is pretty. Since Grace is common, but so pretty having Ichigo as a middle name would really jazz it up.

  6. Nobody but Japanese people will know how to say it!  No I don't care for it at all and she would get teased badly if she ever told anyone what her middle name was!   It looks like itchigo or like you don't know how to spell Chicago!

  7. I like it, i also like Miyoko it means beautiful child in Japanese

  8. NO WAY!

  9. Definitely different, and not pretty. Very weird.

  10. No I dont like it.

It looks like a boy's name too. Sorry.

  11. Almost as weird as my family names. They are off the wall!

  12. keep looking. u dont want to name ur kid after a fruit, in any  language!

  13. Why dont you just name her StrawberrY?

  14. I think if you are Japanese, its probably a great name but if not, it kind of looks like chicago badly misspelled.  Maybe Iona, Ione, Aileen, Ingrid, or Inga would be nice.

  15. Not my taste, but if you like it, use it!

  16. i wouldn't

  17. Hi Amelia, as your part Irish, why not honour your heritage with the name:

    Aisling: dream/vison

    Sorcha: (Unique) radiant

    Aoife: Beautiful (Pronounced Eefa)

    Ciara: Black

Siobhan: God is gracious (Pronounced Sha vaughn)

    Good Luck

  18. No, unless you are Japanese its stupid to use this name. It sounds like something a toddler would say when they have itchy privates or have to go potty.  If you're not japanese it is going to look silly if you use a japanese name.
