  1. my mother is irish and we lived in england and went to ireland every summer, so as a child i loved the place, as i grew up i didnt like the place so much, there was more to do in london.

but my parents moved to ireland in 2000 and the big cities in ireland are growing at an incredible rate, my parents moved just at the right time before the euro came into effect, so made a killing buying a cheap house before the housing market went insane.

i live in ireland for a year in 2000-2001 and i hated it and moved to the states but i went back last year and loved it, i have kids now so its a nice place to raise children, and jobs were there that didnt exist when i lived there 7 years ago.

that was in waterford, but dublin and cork and galway are the best cities and have the best jobs, dublin is too crowded for me though....up the deise!

  2. Fun place if you are drinker, otherwise well, it's a fun place. I would visit again.

  3. I think there ought to be a jeans store in Belfast so a condemnation crew wont have to condemn buildings that have American jeans  within.

Someone told me he had "taken out an oil company with the power of his harem and had free gas in the pumps in Belfast for Communist Party members."  That means there are  Sultans and Lords with harems unchecked by Islam, Communist Party meetings and Communist Party cards to get free gas, and  mass illiteracy.

This may be operating within a substructure but it is not pleasant to be grabbed by some illiterate  Irish r****d to see if my jeans will fit.

  4. Ah sure, it does the trick. Weather could be a bit nicer but...can't have it every way can you?

Plus the spuds are just smashing here.

    :)

  5. I have not been to Ireland but was engaged to an Irish lad. I found the Irish (huge gang he had) to be the wittiest, sharpest, most gregarious group I've ever met.  However...also the most unpredictable.  Except for the drinking fighting and crying for Ireland. I realize it's a complicated issue.  All in all-- really charming and very fun to be with.

  6. Im very proud to be Irish!

  7. its great i'm proud to be irish

    everybody should come to Ireland

  8. It's fantastic.  The people are really friendly.  The pubs are great.  The roads are just barely wide enough for two tricycles to pass each other.  The scenery is terrific -especially Killarney. the ring of Kerry, the Cliffs of Mohr, the northwest and northern coast.
