With Tim Kaine and Evan Bayh both out of the running, Joseph Biden is emerging as the VP front-runner. Reports from NBC indicate that he's been vetted: the Secret Service has been told to watch over him, and he's currently huddled in Delaware with his family and friends (according to reporters camped out of his residence in anticipation of the announcement). Workers in Obama campaign offices have also told reporters that they believe Biden is the choice, but they requested to not be mentioned by name.

  1. Select a running mate who's been serving in an inept Congress for 35 years.  That's the politics of change, alright (insert sarcasm here).

  2. Not a bad choice but I want Hillary on the ticket.

  3. Fantastic choice!!!

    Regards

    J. McCain

  4. I'm just now reading up on him.  I like what I see.  Quite an American.  We're lucky to have such a hard working guy.  And super sad about his wife and daughter dying in a car accident.  I just can't imagine.

  5. Biden is terrible. Enough said.

  6. As obama's running mate, I think he is outstanding.

  7. Joe Biden Rocks

    Obama bin Biden 2008

  8. How can you not like a guy named Joe?  Joe is a sort of 'Joe' Average kind of guy who takes what he does seriously, but never takes himself seriously.  He comes to work early and stays late and knows 'how it's done' and when to do it.  He's been the chairman of just about everything at one time or another and overall gets high marks from everyone but the reactionary b***s of right wing radio.  On the downside he's not particularly 'flashy', but comes off as dry humored and competent.  I'd have to give him a solid B+.  Barrack gets anA-.  McCain gets a B- and Rommey a gentleman's C.  Change we can trust vs. change that won't happen.  What's not to like?

  9. biden was the one who told obama that it wasn't a place or position for on the job training.lol, can you say swift boat!

  10. Senator Biden has over 30 years of experience and has a passion for what he does. I am very excited that he is the VP pick (most likely)!

  11. I don't like the sound of Barack Hussein Obama Bi(N) (LA)den 2008

McCain/Romney 2008 has a much more pleasant ring to it, don't you think?
