What do you think of Kerry Earnhardt as a driver??

I don't think he's the greatest, but hey, you can't say the guy's not trying.  I can't say I'd be a fan if he made a comeback, but I certainly can't hold anything against the guy, unlike his half-brother, who rubs me the wrong way sometimes.  (And yet, I do somewhat like Junior.  I have an 88 sign on my wall, I just don't like to admit it.)

I think he should stay right where he is.

I have seen him in the cup series, just doesnt have it.

He is ok in the truck series. The only thing that he got from his dad was his looks.

I think Kerry is a decent driver, but there are a couple of things that have held him back.  One is the equipment that he has been in.  Who knows what he could have done if he got "A-One" equipment from Childress or whomever.  The other thing is I don't think he is as marketable as his dad or Dale Jr.  And nowadays, that is a big part of NASCAR.  How do you look and speak on TV, and how do you impress sponsors.  If he could have gotten started earlier in life, maybe he could have been a star.

I have seen his work. He is arguably the worst driver ever.

The only thing he should do is play the part of SR. in a movie. He looks so much like him. Of course he would need a stunt driver.On the other hand he proably can`t act either.

i think kerry has had enough chances to prove himself without success. testing cars and running arca or other lower classes is the level of racing he belongs in. if kerry had known who his father was sooner, and was able to spend more time with him the results may have been different. as it is i think he is right where he belongs.

Well considering he is older than dale jr and he has not peaked or ever will i think he's fine where he's at.

I'm already a fan of his. I wish he could at least get a ride in the ARCA series where he's had a lot of success if he couldn't get a ride in NASCAR.

I would like to see him getting a lot more seat time in the other NASCAR series before trying Cup again.  He's not Cup level, and when he tries it, it just makes him look bad.  I like the guy, and would like to see him in Nationwide.

He is a decent driver but not cup material.............Just to respond to the little dig already posted; Yeah his 1/2 brother is just 4th in the points, no talent at all............Go to school.

I think that if he was given the amount of opportunity and resources that Jr. was he could have been as good.

He definitely has that "red headed step child" thing going on.

I am a fan. Kind of sad not to see him on the track.

Kerry? no. He just hasn't got the touch needed to drive in the big leagues. He has tryed. Several times with dad's help to no avail. Stay in Arca and be an also ran or drop to another level of Saturday night bull rings and become a winner. Heck I think I heard somewhere once that Kelly was better than both of them.
