Question:

What do you think of Korean Herbalist?

I was taken to one and he told me a few things about my body and a few health issues. He sent pulses through my central nervous system and got a few readings that he then recorded on a chart. He was going to boil some herbs and get me to drink them for 2 weeks. Not sure what to do.

Has anyone been to a herbalist and what do you think of their methods?

  1. it's total BS

why waste your time and money on these uneducated, unaccredited quackjobs?

go to a proper doctor if you're ill, if you're not ill, just live your life

  2. Well first of all who took you to this herbalist? Second obviously someone believes in alternative therapies or other wise you would not have went to such a doctor! Third this is a much more natural way of actually healing the body of illnesses and dieases. And finally with this all said i am a Natural Health Consultant and believe in the natural therapies unfortunately some who are very ignorant of these ways try to say they are not worth the money and that they do not work! so to this uneducated person i say better to get the best possible way of relief with the least amount of side effects. Now i feel you see both sides of this question from 2 very differnt approaches and beliefs and you alone have to decide what it is you want to do. I wish you good luck!!!

  3. Do it! I would jump at the chance. They are smart and although unconventional have healed many people. My mothers doctor wrote a book about them.Although some people are put off but their disorganization at times often they work out of cluttered backrooms of shops. They are good.I cant wait till I can see one.

  4. I've never seen a Korean herbalist specifically, but as long as the herbalist is legit, they can give you a lot of help. I know we have hundreds of customers that see their herbalist as often as they need to and they have reported significant increases in their overall health from it.

However, if he was boiling the herbs, I would question him on that. Most herbs lose much of their nutritional integrity when they are exposed to high head (like heat drying or boiling)... it's the same reason that boiled vegetables aren't as healthy as fresh vegetables. That fact alone makes me wonder how legit he may be, but there are a lot of good herbalists out there as well. Good luck!
