What do you think of Marian Hossa leaving the Thrashers?

I know it's been a while since he's been gone (and I'm just now asking this, lol) and what do you think the chances of him coming back? My dad thinks slim to none and tells me I shouldn't get my hopes up.

And I was thinking if my mom was crazy enough to let me do this: I hire Justin Timberlake, and have him sing his song "SexyBack"but instead, "HossaBack" at half time, then I record it, and send it to Marian Hossa, and then I'll leave him a note saying how miserable I am without him on the team. :-(

I'm a BIG thinker. lol.

  1. Hossa's not coming back even if the Pens don't re-sign him, he's not going back to the horrible Thrashers.

    BTW, GO PENS.

  2. I am sure he'd be willing to take a pay-cut to stay out of that town.

  3. He won't go back to Atlanta... they won't be able to give him enough money.  He's looking for the big bucks, and his play in this year's playoffs puts his services at a premium.

  4. Even if he doesn't stay in Pittsburgh, no way is he going back to Atlanta. I'd take him in Buffalo...::sigh::

  5. Chances are slim.  Rumors have him going to Boston to be with his former linemate Marc Savard.  Hey, remember him in Atlanta?

And i hope your mom isn't crazy enough to let you do that because it'd be a waste of your time and Hossa's time.  Sending him that tape might keep him out of Atlanta for good.

  6. The'll be no Hossa-Back!!! He made the right move since he is playing for the Cup right now.........I too hope he ends up in NJ like he should have at the trade deadline.

  7. wow. yea. hossa wont be back. he'll end up with the devils or stars

  8. I'm a huge Thrash fan and I loved Hossa when he was with us, but he's moved on to better things, and I think that we as fans should move on as well.  I wish him luck in these finals and hopefully the Pens can come back and win.  Hossa is going to get huge offers this summer, and I don't think Atlanta is prepared to throw that much money at a single player.  The Thrashers have many weaknesses they need to address and bringing Hossa back would not solve many of the teams' problems.  The fans would love him back, and so would I, but I think it's best that we move on and start building our team towards the Stanley Cup.  Go Thrashers!!
