  1. I think it's an awesome choice!!  And I agree...clear road for Obama/Biden...straight to rental.

    Bi, Bi, OBiden!!

  2. AWESOME!!! She is going to have new votes flooding into the McCain & Palin ticket! She's going to deliver, no doubt!!! AWESOME!!!

  3. Desperate pathetic lack of judgment un presidential

  4. So, you like it because McCain chose a woman? Heh, you're playing right into his hand.

    How gullible.

  5. I think it was a really bad move on McCain's part.

He must have been going for the "appeal-to-every-possible-voter-I-can-ge... strategy to pick an unknown female mother, whose youngest child has down syndrome.

In addition, you have to note that McCain is 72! He may not make it through the whole term if he is elected and then do we, as the American  public, think the governor of Alaska has the experience or ability to run this country?

Frankly, I don't think she does.

also, as per your "put a woman into the white house" thing, Hilary Clinton was running for Democratic Nominee, which isn't to say that I liked Hilary, but the fact was, hilary was up for president so making a woman your VP is just kind of a sad attempt to pick up hilary clinton supporters. And honestly, I don't think our VP should be picked based on her gender, its not gonna do us any good that she's a woman if she ends up president and can't run our country.

Gender does not affect how good a polititian you are, nor does race.

  6. Well first of all, it makes this election historic because we are either going to have ...

A WOMAN VICE PRESIDENT or ...

    AN AFRICAN-AMERICAN PRESIDENT!

    That's pretty cool.

I'm a white male and I think it is refreshing that it won't be a white male's exclusive club in the executive branch for a change.

As far as the McCain's choice ... I think it is a poor attempt to get some of Hillary's supporters.  That is the only reasonable explaination for this move.

The really sad thing is, if one were to vote for Hillary then swap parties and vote for McCain because of his VP choice, being a woman, it basically says that the person swapping sides is a ignorant rascist.

I say this because Hillary and Obama line up almost identically in regards to the issues.  Issues that favor the low and middle class (forget all the republican lies that get spread about higher taxes if Obama wins ... remember, higher taxes only apply to the upper class ... the middle and lower class would actually get relief).

Consequently, McCain is tremendously different on the issues than Hillary and Obama.

So If any of you think you are going to jump ship because McCain has selected a woman ...

then look in the mirror and try convincing yourself you aren't ignorant about politics and a rascist.

    Good Luck!

P.S. its pretty obvious that the asker is going to pick a right-wing extremist's comment as "best answer" ... so don't be surprised when it happens.  I just hope you make over 200K a year ... or else you are also ignorant and voting against your own interests!

-Over 970 answers and only 1% get best answer?  That shows me that you have absolutely no clue what you are talking about.

  7. McCain wants Sarah Palin to be president when he's done in 8 years, to carry on his vision of reform (which perfectly coincides with hers).

Even if he loses, he raised her stature in future elections.

  8. yesyesyes

  9. lovin it!!

  10. great choice! clear road ahead for OBAMA/BIDEN!

  11. I think it is hilarious.  I can smell the stink of desperation coming from McCain.

  12. wtf are you talking about, its not about black, white, male or female... she has less experience then obama, mccain and biden. shes not even a senator shes a govenror, that was the most ridiculous choice ever. let her stay her butt in alaska with all her kids. he made it that much easier for obama to win. vote smart. vote obama.

  13. i think it will make him lose the election, but I was never going to vote for him, no matter who his VP is!

    Obama 08

  14. I think eric hit the nail on the head.

This is just a strategic move to get politically ignorant women to jump sides from Hillary's party to the republican side.

I just wish americans would stop letting themselves get brainwashed into voting against thier own interests, its already got us 8 years of h**l.  I can't imagine another four.

  15. Here is the info on her stand (or lack of it) on the issues:

  17. GORGEOUS!!!

  18. hello,

i think its great also ,i am a independent  i thought i was a democrat all these years but i like some of both of the issues .i think he picked a women in spite of obama not picking hillary clinton. i really liked her but i dont know this one lady that MCAIN has picked the only problem i have with it  is that they been given obama h**l over him being too young and then he goes out and pickes not only a younger vp than obama but he picked someone who does not have all that much experience he also talk c**p about  obama being not well experienced

so they are all hypacrites but thats politics and i think they all tell that they are going to do alot untill they get in the white house and we never seem to see no results .so  am very confused who to vote for i voted for hillary rodem clinton in the pliminaries but i dont know what to do now i am not reaaly sure .i really dont believe in all of either ones policies so what should i do if you are smart in these areas please e-mail me at suzie.cline@yahoo.com and give me some advice on this issue imy father is a democrat but i am confused

thanks i answered you question with a question im sorry  suzie c

  19. This woman is a genius! She is highly intelligent and would make a great vice-president and some day would make a great President,

  20. Poor choice!!!

Its ok he selects a woman but not this one...It won't make a difference because he just gave up his presidency...

  21. It's a terrible decision and probably a huge mistake. He could have picked from several more competent female republican politicians.

  22. I'm happy with it.

  23. It is the single greatest choice.  I was a little surprised, but knew much about her before and think McCain will win even more now.

  24. I don't like Palin.  She's a religious fundamentalist that doesn't care about protecting the environment.  I'm not sure if you noticed, but Palin is actually the second woman to be picked as a running mate for a presidential ticket.  Walter Mondale and the Democrats tried to make Geraldine Ferraro the VP almost a quarter century ago.
