  1. She is young and was put under the spotlight quickly so I think she could easily regroup and start playing well

  2. She´s and Idiot who doesn't love the sport, all she cares about is money, she won 9,000 dollars in tournaments but Nike gave her 12,500,000.00, that is ridiculous for someone who has never won anything, to those have have won a Major (Morgan at age 18) #1 in the world (Lorena) Great future (Creamer & Gulbis). She was not even a pick for the solheim Cup that has got to let you know that shes a nobody

  3. Over-rated...spolied brat...past her prime.....father meddles in her game too much.....needs to work in a laundry starching shirts so she can appreciate what she MIGHT have been

  4. Mikey -

    I think it's a tragedy. A cautionary tale.

Sort of like child tv and movie stars, they're given so much and exposed to so much pressure and excess when they're not emotionally ready to handle it.

I think she is very very immature, very sheltered, and very controlled by her parents and her 'people'.

Making her play against the men was a MAJOR mistake, she should have been allowed to compete on her own level and develop the skills she needed to grind out tournaments and WIN....she never learned how to win and compete against her peers.

She had marvelous natural ability when she was younger, a wonderful free flowing swing that allowed her to hit the ball long and straight. However, Leadbetter and Lord knows who else has clouded her mind with swing thoughts and mechanical contrived motions that have led her to lose her natural motion....it looks to me like she's trying to 'help' the ball into the air, she's sort of jabbing at it, she's not swinging naturally the way she used to, and that in itself is a shame.

There's still time for her to turn it around, but I don't think she will, she's too far gone, right now she probably couldn't shoot even par at the local muni much less in an LPGA tournament.

  5. she will flop

  6. she is good but she needs to prove that she can beat the women and beat them in a big way b4 she should worry about playing with the men

  7. She's overrated.

  8. she is so HOT!

    I think bout DOIN her!

  9. Good player but not good enough to waste all that time on the men's tourney.  She should have been trying to be the best she could be on the women's side first instead of trying to be the first woman to do this and do that against men.  Why get caught up in all of that instead of letting your game take you there in the future.  I will say this, in an interview that they had with her, the guy asked her who her game resembled more, Tiger Woods or Anika Sorestam (sp), she remarked that it resembled neither.  I can't remember everything she said but it turned me off to her.  The way she answered came off as being quite cocky and disrespectful to me.  If it was me, I would have been quite humbled by any comparison to those great golfers.  In my opinion, she has a lot to learn about golf and life.

  10. She's attractive and can hit it a long way.  I think her parents gave her bad advice and rushed her to play on the tours more concerned with getting the big bucks now than the long term view.  Hopefully she will suceed in the future.  She was really tall at a young age and her body will probably go through some changes that will effect her ability to make the same swing.  I think they learned from injuries last year not to push it so fast - give her a couple years she may yet become a great one.

  11. She missed the cut by 1 stroke on the pga tour at age 14. That is crazy!!-male or female.  Tiger didnt play that well on tour when he tried as a teenager. That having been said, maybe she peaked early.  Many a "cant miss" kid have failed to make it big and vice verca.  I think she will fade away.  I hope I'm wrong.

  12. She's good and she will do good in golf in the future.

  13. Perhaps the most over-rated golfer we've ever seen.

  14. I don't think of Michele Wie. She never enters my mind.

  15. Michelle was 6 foot tall when she was fourteen years old. She matured early , she was a full grown woman playing against children. After she started competing against women on the LPGA , we found out she was a good golfer but not the dominate player she was against young girls.

  16. I think she will never ever be good (or as good as she was at a younger age)

  17. She is s**y

  18. I think that she's a fraud, and that the circus sideshow that was her career is about over.

Sure, she and her father can laugh all the way to the bank, but she'll never be a real winner in the sport.

  19. I think she should concentrate on doing good in the LPGA before she plays tourneys on the PGA. I think she is a very good golfer for her age and will continue to improve as she gains more experience but as of right now she is a bust and is choking under the pressure.

  20. over rated. I don't see why she was trying to get onto the mens tour when she couldn't even win anything on the womens. I think she will get better though

  21. maybe the pressure got to her she is only 18 playing against golfers that have playing a long time

  22. I think she have the ability to be a great golfer, but her parents (pa pa Wie) have to step back and let her play and let those who is hire to help her do their thing. She need to focus on one thing at a time, before she move up in the golf world. that is my take on Wie.

  23. I wouldn't kick her out of bed for eating crackers.

  24. No I cannot say any thing about her until I play a round with her (just a casual round...)

The media does not represent her, it just part of Nike Marketing.
