Personally i think its really a great move in the right direction. I hope within the next 5 years we can really ditch oil and move onto greener and less terrorist funding energies. Personally with the mess its caused i believe oil has had its day and its time to move on. But what about the US reliance on oil and its gluttony? Perhaps the end of the oil era will also be the end of the US!

LOL...  No, the end of the oil era will not be the end of the US.  It will be a LONG time before oil isn't used any more, and technology will need to be developed to replace it.  I have every reason to believe that the US will be leading the technology revolution to get around everyone's oil dependency.

nearly everything we have, what we buy, and what we use is created with the use of oil..... here's one word for you to think about, and that what you are saying you will give up.... ready.... wait for it....

and the end of oil won't be the end of the US... it'll be the end to every country that sells oil, because most of them have nothing else... so stand by for war.
