  1. 99%.  Nothing is ever a 100% guarantee, but Rafa winning on clay is about as close to a guarantee as there is in tennis.  That said, I'd love it if Nole wins the title.

  2. I'm really expecting him to. I mean he IS the King if the Clay. and he's H-O-T   HOT!!!

  3. I guess since he rarely loses on clay, id have to say hes got a 99% chance. 1% goes to djokovic.

  4. he would win it

  5. Rafa is always regarded as the man yet to beat on clay. I think he has 98% of winning, the 2% will probably go for Novak. If he has to take on Federer, that will be 99% winning chance for Rafa. =)

  6. There is no reason why he should not win. He is by far the best clay court player inthe world today, and in my opinion the best of all time on clay.

But you never know. 4 is an unlucky number when it comes to masters events. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. No man in history has ever won any particular masters event 4 years in a row. Federer won Indian Wells 3 times in a row, then he got knocked out first round last year. So let's see if  Nadal can become the first. My money is on him.

  7. Well, at first I was thinking he wont fair as well as last 3 years, only because other players have stepped up their game on clay, and I think against davydenko he will struggle big time. However after seeing his quarterfinal match/score, straight set win over the powerful David Ferrer, I am thinking his chances are awfully good. He truly loves this surface and is showing. Out of the other 3 remaining I think Federer is a bit fragile now, and Novak has steadily proven to be an all court player, but dont think his time for a title on clay is here as yet, but Davydenko has the type of game, powerful groundstrokes, versatility, that he could give huge fits on this surface.

  8. Based on what I've seen of some of his last two matches I think his chances of winning Monte Carlo for a 4th time in a row is pretty good.

  9. He is the favourite and in my opinion will win unless Djokovic can outplay him on the day.

  10. he should win! so that he could defend his points! i hope he will win!

  11. Relatively high, he's always regarded as the top clay court player in the world, and Federer has been hiccuping lately for whatever reason.

  12. If his knees stays healthy, there's no reason why he won't win the all of the clay court tournaments he enters.  He is after all the 'king of clay.'  He's very consistent and is very confident on this surface.  I hate watching him play on grass or hard courts because any hard-hitting player, even with a very low rank, can hurt him and even eliminate him.  The clay, however, gives him the time he needs to set up his shots so he's is very dangerous on this surface.  He is very fast too which gives his opponents very little time to react to his shots.
