New 2008 or soon to be 2009 Altima very good choice for a new car. 20.3 gallon gas tank takes a $80 dollars to fill up but 2.5 liter can return almost 600 miles on the highway. Unfortunately I have to have a PIT stop before that. Nissan Products have really made advances in quality and performance in the past 3 years. Pre 2005 altimas and used  Nissan cars might not be as well maintained and have problems. Always buy the best example car you can and have it checked out by a mechanic before signing any papers.

I have a nissan versa never cost more that 50 to fill up, most of the time its 43-36 if gas it at 4.29, its great if u have no kids and a college student lol i hate seeing old people as in 60+ or big bodybuilders in them because they are trying to save gas thats just embarrasing.

I have a 2006 Altima and i got it about 2 years ago when i turned 16.

It is a great car bc its very comfortable, gas friendly, great for traveling, lots of room in the back and huge trunk:)  Of course the new models are way nicer so i think its a great choice plus it is high on the list with safety ratings.
