He's interesting - but so vague.  His writings can be interpreted to mean almost anything you want them to mean.

I know his name was used in a hoax around 9/11.I know facts don't back up his reputation.I know he was involved in Astrology.Perhaps the silliest of the mystic arts.I'm pretty sure he'd be surprised he's still famous after all these years.Since it's me, I know you won't pay any attention. Nostradamus is just so over

No, he was just strange and vague.  Vague means it can be read for centuries and used to explain the winning of the world series and everything else.  Vague is very powerful; ask any politician running right now how useful it is to be vague.

I watched the latest History channel documentary on what they claim is one of his lost books...supposedly; drawn by his son. These pictures reminded me more of Tarot cards and I would imagine that it would be hard to interpret their real meaning without an explanation by the artist. I was unimpressed with their claims. Some people such as Nostradamus may truly get surprisingly accurate information from somewhere. But, that doesn't make them right the rest of the time. The picture of the burning tower  being related to 9/11 was reaching a bit as well.

He's vague, but it culd be because he tried to describe things that weren't invented untill 50 in the future and there was no word for it, example: tank, machine gun, etc.

There isn't really any way to prove it, maybe in the future.

I don't know what he is all about.  I have read a few books of his writings and can't see the links that some people make.  I think they are all smoking something.  It's a real stretch to make something out of that junk.   Maybe it looses something in translation to english.

He was for sure a talented astrologist.

I had a friend who was good at star chartings who told me that at certain times, certain  things were likely  so you could be careful until the time had passed. That is all it is, but what I have experienced was very convincing and costly.

I found the charts made for me to be 100%. He told me that there was a distinct line up of planets that would have a powerful negative affect on my mechanical possessions. I had 5 cars, tv, camera, washer, dryer, guitar amp and within 3 days of him telling me this, all 5 cars were not running, and everything else broke and had to be replaced. I think, for me, that was enough.

For you, you would have to find out for yourself.

ummmmm, its easy to tell the past from writings. So far there hasnt been anything to say he foretold the future. Its pretty easy to take something that has happened already and place it in somebodies vague writings.

If you look at *real* sources of historical information on Nostradamus it doesn't take long to realize that he was not predicting the future.  There have been fanciful and inaccurate stories and books about Nostradamus coming out for decades now.  The real version of events isn't nearly as fun as the fictionalized version.  The real version also has no indication there was anything paranormal going on with this guy.

I do believe he saw in different states of consciousness. The problem is that even when you are doing it yourself it is hard to make out what it all means, let alone if someone else is doing it and trying to tell you about it. Then the person hides it in code as well so even though he probably had experiences I very much doubt the practical value of studying his writings. It is easier to have your own visions.

If you do want to interpret them understand that the physical things he describes are code for things on a different level of existance, which may or may not influence the material world. There are many mystics who had visions, which did not have to go through the trouble Nostradamus did to hide and many have similar experiences, indicating an objective reality inspiring all of them.
