to invite Camilla Faye to the Diana Memorial just shows they have their mother's

kind heart. Camilla Fayed's brother Dodi died along with Princess Diana in that terrible crash in Paris Diana's boys are a credit to her.

  1. Camilla, Duchess of York formerly Parker Bowles is NOT related to the Al Fayed family.  Get it right, will you?

As to the character of the two young Princes, they strike me as being young men who are doing their best to be gracious to their stepmother...regardless of whatever their own personal feelings may be.

  2. i dont think of them much. if at all.

  3. it shows that they dont resent her for taking their mom's place, which is good. but i think she shouldve come

  4. I thought it was terrific that they invited BOTH Camillas to the memorial.

Even so, I was glad when Parker Bowles bowed out of it.  She didn't belong there.

  5. Justaperson, Duchess of York is Sarah, Andrew's ex wife, so get THAT right!

Anyway no one cares about Diana now, yesterdays news, move on. No one cares about the nation's most famous dysfunctional family.

  6. I think Diana's sons are a credit to the British Empire, and may just save the monarchy yet.  I have a theory that William will not be king, and will have other interests, and that Harry will be king!  Wouldn't that be cool!

  7. I don't think anything of them. They are just two men who have been trying to deal with the drama of losing their mother and the conspiracies behind it. Thats it.

  8. It was a kind gesture to invite her since they realise their mother was not the only person to die in that accident.

Perhaps they should have invited Mohammend Al-Fayed also. He cut a lonely, sad figure at Harrods during his 2 minute silence. I feel very sorry for him because he so wants someone to blame for his son's dedath & can't accept that it was an accident.

  9. I saw them on a papers cover this morning as I was going to get stamps at the post office and thought how familiar they now seem. We know what a slow burn it will be considering the way the press treated their mum. They are after all configured. It will be interesting to see what contradictions are conjured up to try and draw a maligned conception on their integrity.

  10. yes, she was always so proud of her sons..& that is where they get their kind heart...it is most certainly not from their father..who as we know, puts his own needs first!!

  11. It speaks volumes to how Diana instilled goodness and decency in her children.

  12. i think that it showed a lot of class on their part to invite Step-Mum to the memorial service, even though she had been the wedge between Mum and Dad....i also thank God on behalf of our English cousins that they took after Mum's model-like looks, rather than Dad's in-bred genetics....(sorry Chuck, but you look like somebody took an ugly stick to you and discovered that it was impossible to stop)

as for Her Majesty and her so-called stuffy attitude and bearing, she is the child of another era, and as such behaves the way she was taught a Princess (now Queen) should...it is a function of her position and her up-bringing

i daresay that Princes Harry and William will be somewhat less formal (though i don't imagine that they will get as far down as American informality)....to borrow a quote from Jonathan Frakes when asked about his role on Star Trek The Next Generation for season two..."More Slouching!"

  13. they are a credit to their mum

and like David , I was just thinking yesterday that Harry would be king and not William strangely enough

  14. They seem to be a whole lot better than their stuffy grandmother..

  15. I agree - William and Harry are a credit to their mother. They both seem to be humble in spite of who they are, and they did not allow their mother's untimely death to bring them down, like so many adolescents would. One reads so much about other famous families whose children grow up to be such pains, in and out of rehab, etc. I just read something about a week ago about Diana crying when she found out she would lose the HRH, and William told her he'd give it back to her when he became king. Nice kid.

  16. Their mother would have been sooooooo proud of them!

She did a superb job in raising those 2 - I remember the Queen, shaking hands with little Charles, when she returned after a long foreign tour! Shaking Hands! With her  5 year old son! Thank goodness Diana, cuddled ,mothered , loved and reached out for her sons - now the British Public will reap the benefits.

  17. Which Camilla are you talking about?
