  1. sick of hearing about it!

  2. He's doing his job. It's not a fight for his country, it's a fight for a country hundreds of miles away, but I'm pleased he hasn't tried to weasel out of it.

  3. It is very honorable of him to not use the excuse of being a royal to try to get out of it.

I respect him so much more for going there.

  4. Well, to answer your question, there are other soldiers serving in Afghanistan.. so i don't particularly think that Harry's service is unique apart from the fact that he is blue blooded.

  5. I think it proves that he is a fine, young man who is proud of his country and proud to represent his country.  Unlike a lot of dodgers who do anything not to fight for their country.

  6. Outstanding. And it's a drag on bracking rights here on YA. Can't you just buzz all off and let him be? He is much better than all of you who have never served in the armed forces.

  7. It makes me want to join the forces for sure.

10 weeks of camping in the desert, playing footy in the sun, firing off a few machine guns, directing bombs to targets...and  much more - Hooray! Sounds like a real jolly adventure!

  8. I find it commendable he went. The royals have not served in years on the front lines

  9. Don't care, my boyfriend I love very much is in Iraq.

Some Prince doesn't matter to me.

  10. He is a soldier doing his job. No more, no less. In a uniform his is nobody special - I say who is Harry?

  11. He joined the army.

He was trained to do the job he does.

He was sent to Afghanistan like thousands of others.

    What's the big deal?
