  1. He`s jumping on the taxpayer`s bandwagon like the rest of them...........politicians, the lot.   They think we have a bottomless pit of money .

After all, the hardworking taxpayer can always put in more overtime to pay for it.

  2. A friend of mine was severely disciplined in the Prison Service when she and her co-driver stopped at her mums house on the way back from dropping prisoners at prison for a cup of tea.

Obviously stopping like that in a Prison Lorry is potentially asking for trouble with all the attraction that its likely to receive from passers by but ultimately its the same abuse of taxpayers money/time.

One rule for them and another for the rest of us.

    Unfair.

  3. hes cool

  4. Fair play to the lad. I just hope he is the next King and we miss out Twit charles completely.

You need to be quite brainy to fly a helicopter incidentally.  No, I like the guy.

  5. Not a lot, we pay for everything he does anyway and the rest of the royals. They more than repay this in tourism.

  6. They are telling you that you can never do what they can do.

Like "...putting you in your own place".  That is how I read that.

  7. The official reason was that it was part of his training.

However, he is not to be a part of the Chinook setup, so therefore that excuse has no credence.

If it was a training exercise then it should have benefited someone who would eventually be flying helicopters.

Has anyone ever heard of this being allowed to anyone else? I don't think so.

Do not forget the helicopter landing on a private lawn too.

    Such double standards.

  8. he's the prince & that means he can p**s on you anytime he wants..

  9. I think that was very generous of us.

  10. Until you get over the idea that some people are so much better than others, you will be stuck with "royalty."  Of all the non-sensical systems humans have come up with, that is one of the craziest!

England reminds me of "Elizabeth in Wonderland".  If you lived in a meritocracy, her kid would be out sweeping streets and she would be cleaning offices.

Adolf had the right idea when he said "repeat a lie often enough and people will believe it".............they have you believing their lies and until you get over your gullibleness, not much will change until the next time the USA has to bail you out.....................

  11. Frankly, there is no need for the royal family to live in such lavish surroundings anymore as they have no power. I think they should be taken from Buckingham palace and live somewhere else like the rest of us as they serve no purpose to the country.

Prince William and Harry claim to have there feet on the ground yet they continue to live the way they do, conforming to toff religion which is old in its ways and has no relation to the people of the uk.

    Rant over thankyou!

  12. Funny thing is the RAF has defended it by saying it's all routine and normal....they must lend all the helicopters and jets out to the pilots on the weekends...cool eh !

  13. Well, more the fools us, for putting up with it!

  14. Yet another Royal 'parasite.'

  15. the younger members of the royal family go to far with there privileged positions, and it is about time it was stopped if they had to pay out of there own pockets this would soon stop,

  16. About the same as I think of parasitic MPs claiming £20,000 of taxpayers' money for their mortgage expenses.

  17. It's great when the gutter press make up these stories.  How did the reporter know - was he invited?  Now read the RAFs version of events.  I know which one I'd rather believe.

  18. Does anyone really believe that he actually flew the helicopter? He's only just learned to fly which he seemed to manage in a few months, whereas it usually takes years to train an RAF pilot. Flying a helicopter is totally different. And this was supposed to be a Chinook. Get real. He'll be about as capable of flying one of those huge machines as I am and I've never even seen one in real life.

  19. And there`s more.

  20. Lets face it, if we could, we would! He's got to learn to fly the helicopter so why not use it for personal favour. I used to get my driving instructor to let me drive to my boyfriend's house and save me a taxi, isn't this the same thing on a grander scale?

  21. He was just showing off. It is stupid that such a waste of resources happened to boost his not inconsiderable ego. He should pay for any costs associated with his jolly.

  22. That really was low, blatant...he should pay the full cost of everything, plus a hefty fine.......

    (he can certainly afford it!!!)

  23. Not much room in a RAF helicopter to throw a stag party. I think a bigger place would be better place for a stag party.

  24. these clown are used to getting there own way, what ever it cost us .....................

  25. He's showing off at the expense of the tax payer....while we are expected to take our nights out using public transport...I wonder who flew home from the stag do...or did he do that pissed as a newt too...pompous t**t!

  26. I think he's a bit of a **** to be honest

More fool them for letting him get away with it

  27. It's probably the quickest, most security minded, way of getting there...............

  28. He should be made to pay for the cost of the flight.

  29. The latest bulletin on this (today, Sunday) says that an RAF spokesman said, that it is routine that helicopter pilots are asked as part of their training to land in 'small' enclosed spaces, and therefore this was " just an exercise"... OK..accepted... but it also states to quote.."no-one, got in or out of the aircraft on landing " !!!!

So how did they get off the helicopter to go to the stag do...PARACHUTE  OUT ??

    Caramac x

  30. I am livid - what the h**l is wrong with a taxi (albeit a posh one!)  His father is supposed to be an eco warrier and he allows his son to use an army helicopter to pick up his piece of skirt? That helicopter could be being used by soldiers risking their life for this country not by some toffee nosed royal.  I am usually a fan of the royals but this is outrageous behaviour.  The fact that whilst the government are taking money from the poorest of our society on one hand and funding this obsence behaviour by our royals is sickening.

  31. things will never change
