CBS News/ AP) The Rev. Jesse Jackson used the N-word during a break in a TV interview where he criticized presidential candidate Barack Obama, Fox News confirmed Wednesday.

The longtime civil rights leader already came under fire this month for crude (he wanted cut off Obama’s nuts) off-air comments he made against Obama in what he thought was a private conversation during a taping of a "Fox & Friends" news show.

In additional comments from that same conversation, first reported by the blog TVNewser, Jackson is reported to have said Obama was "talking down to black people," and referred to blacks with the N-word when he said Obama was telling them "how to behave"

  1. I want to know why Don Imus was fired for his racial comment which is what Jackson and his cohorts called for but Jackson can just say "sorry" and all is well in America.  He should suffer the same as Imus did!  However, you can't really fire someone who doesn't work.

  2. It's time for Jessie Jackson to disappear, find another career.  IMO, he's virtually useless.

  3. i always knew there was something about him that i didnt like. and ive found that its self righteousness. its not very becoming of someone who holds the title "reverend".  he's so quick to call out everyone else for their short comings and he's using the N word. shamey shamey!!!!

  4. I really don't think about it.  But since you asked, I believe he is jealous of Obama because Jessie wanted to be president years back.  But people were not ready yet to have a black President.

I have a question for you.  Why are the black people allowed to use the N word, but if a white person uses it they are called racists, and worse. Double standard, don't you think?

  5. There are two N-words the white N-word(totally unacceptable) and the black N-word and black people use it in any way they choose as is their prerogative.

Oh I see you only want answers from people that agree with you.

  6. I think they're both repulsive.

  7. Personally, I'm so sick of people and their double standards about vocabulary. If you don't want to hear someone use a particular word, then don't use it yourself, ethnic jokes included.

  8. Jesse Jackson is a political & civil rights has been who has seen his power, influence & empire slowly disintegrate over the years until now, when the newbie on the block is the miracle child.  As far as what he said & his excuse of not knowing the mic was on, as someone who has been in front of the cameras for decades, Jesse knew the mic was on.  As always, he is worried about # 1 & that isn't 'his people'.  He's worried about himself & his bank account.  By using the words he did, he has again inserted himself as a person of importance in another election.  Nice ego trip...

  9. I don't think much of him anymore.

  10. i think it's messed up for him to claim he is a reverend and start talking about how he wants to cut obamas "nuts" off

what reverend do you know does that? guy screwed up big time

  11. This is the same racist prick that referred to New York as Hymie Town in another "off camera" moment

When will people see this guy for what he is or is it some how racist to point out that a black man is a racist

  12. Only the media pays any attention to Jackson and Sharpton. The rest of us ignore them.
