What do you think of Russian heilcopters.?

Russian helicopters are more rugged and reliable then ours  but are nowhere near our technology and deadliness and accuaracy.

The standard of the world, at least they used to be.

Russia uses Helicoptors extensivly for their nearley endless territory, and they build them tough.

The MI-24 Hind D.  A large military gunship is very rugged, can carry a lot of weight, and has proven very reliable, even with subpar services. ***They went broke after all.***

Their not as advanced as American or European designes, but they get the job done.

mi 17 is a workhorse of the developing world.

they are sturdy, they are easy to maintain, and they are tolerant towards untrained and technically unskilled personell of the developing countries.

they are heavier than their western counterparts.

Russians improved the avionics and support of the helicopters, so you can basically ordeer western avionics with the russian hull.

with the exception of the Mi 28 the russian attakc helicopters are not suited for the stalker tactics employed by the western forces; the russian helicopters are performing better in hit and run strafing passes, since they are too heavy to afford the stalking lik the apaches do.

I would like to test a hokum, and the Havoc.

until now i know how it tastes to fly a hind, and I am well aware of what it's like to fly a Hip.
