Is it how you expected it to be as most people I know thought it would be a dump?

many very poor/war torn countries are physically beautiful. *you* had the money to see the beautiful parts and have luxuries, most of the people in Rwanda obviously dont have these luxuries. perhaps if you went to the average Rwandan's household/living quarters, it would be a dump!

$20 per night for a Rwandan is probably a lot, it might not be a lot for you, but you would have to look at their salaries per year to decide.

of course there is a lot of division in wealth in a "poor" country thats how politicians get their "wealth", hence seeing mercedes etc.  its the inequality that people go mad about...

I went to China and lived like a queen for nothing, it doesnt mean that the rest of the Chinese live like that... what $20 for me- nothing,  is over a weeks wage in China

Wow, Rwanda is beautiful! I would have thought it would be kind of a dump because of war and conflict. Wow!

wow this is Rwanda? i did think it would be a dump, well the rest of it is. this is just one of them tourist attraction
