  1. There are some things impossible to keep private, such as the birth of a baby after it happens (public record).  Second, the issue there was abortion, a huge political issue that makes perfect sense to introduce since it represents such a fundamental difference between the two parties.  In general, however, unless there are specific circumstances present, many things having to do with family should be kept private.  We all have issues, and politicians are no different.  If they were, we'd call them gods.  Do you know any politician that is a god?

  2. Don't Republicans generally advocate abstinence? What happened, do the rules change for her own household?

So why can't this governor control what's going on under her own roof so we have to trust her to run the country? I don't think so!

  3. They didn't keep Clinton's infidelity private, and that was a personal matter in his family?

  4. Amen to that Sunshine. That is exactly what I have been saying and thinking all day.

In big red letters on CNN it says "SENATOR PALIN'S 17 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER PREGNANT". Just like that. I would be horrified if I had that splashed about if I were that girl. Teenagers are terribly private and this has to be beyond a nightmare. No the Republicans are shouting it from the rooftops so they can pat themselves on the back and say "But I support her and doesn't that make me a wonderful Christian" "Just look at my Christian values at work, I support the poor girl". Yuck!

  5. I agree with that.  Tucker needs to tell Sarah Palin the same .  She is the one who goes on and on about her children.  She brings the gossip on herself and that is not fair to her children.

  6. I agree that the MINOR daughter Bristol should be left out...However her mother should be grilled drilled and fried for her lack of leadership within her own home.. how can we elect her to one of the most powerfull offices in the free world when she cant even keep her own house in order?  Lets not forget that there is still the highly probable fact of McCains passing while in office leaving her to run the country..I am just not comfortable with that..

  7. It is a wise statement. We need not concern ourselves with the decision made. This woman is real and to the point.

  8. I probably never would have heard of Bristol Palin if her mom was not in public service.

Plus I somewhat feel they've already been using the 4 month old.  Shouldnt that condition be private also.

And why do her supporters then, even need to reiterate the support?  Thats not keeping it private..

  9. Of course. This is a private family matter.

  10. an odd statement considering they decided to make this public.
