  1. to much religion.

  2. The last prophet was raised from Arabia in the 7th century A.D.He preached Islam and the idolaters of Makka became his bitter enemies. When more and more joined the new religion, the Makkans grew jealous and decided to kill Mohamed. Mohamed had to flee to Madinah. There he established an Islamic democracy and made Quranic laws the basis for jdging disputes.H e was succeeded by Four Rightfully Guided Caliphs. Later Muawiyah changed the dmocracy into a dynastic rule.Muslim empire expanded to Europe in the west and to India in the east and Africa in south .

King Abdul Aziz  ibne  Saud  was the Lord Temporal and his mentor, Imam Mohamed bin Abdul Wahab Najadi was the Spiritual Lord. His writ only rules there.

Prophet allowed christians to pray in the Mosque. Now the Saudi Govt. does not allow churches to be buillt.!

  3. I think they are not really friends with the US as Bush and others have tried to claim. They educate their young children to hate the west and have more than their share of extremist Muslims. Over 50% of the 9/11 hijackers were Saudi's. So I don't trust them at all.

  4. Saudi Arabia is a vast, incredible country, with a incredibly diverse population, though not necessarily readily apparently so.  That said, the only Saudis I have ever had real problems with were those few fanatics who deemed me entirely unworthy because I was neither Saudi nor Muslim.

  5. That's a little vague, Saudi Arabia is a large and diverse country.
