  1. With 17 different autonomous regions Spain is a more diverse country culturally speaking than many people imagine.

I moved from the UK to Andalucia, Southern Spain 6 years ago now and its is definitely now my 'home'. Like with every other country and culture there are pro and cons to living here, but the pros definitely out weigh the cons!

The people, like the weather, are sunny and warm most of the time and seem to have the right attitude towards life in general. i.e. they work to live, NOT live to work and also have a great respect for family and tradition which still remains a very important part of daily life here.

  5. Beautiful country, historic, brave & adventurous people. Congrats on the 2006 World basketball championship and thanks for exporting Gasol to us (he's on the Lakers now!). The only request I'd have is to win a World Cup!

  6. IBIZA!!!!!!!!!

  7. Me personally, I love the Andalusian region, I stayed in Sevilla and totally enjoyed it. I think the Andalusian people are a little more up beat, lots of Flamenco dancing, very happy people.

  8. It's a country with so much to see and so much diversity.  There's cosmopolitan cities like Barcelona, old Spain with castles and bulls, northern Atlantic beaches, mountains and forests, Greek and Roman ruins, the list goes on.

I don't think a lot of people know about or appreciate the diversity within Spain and the history.  There's something for everyone there.

  9. Well, Santander is very nice :-)

  10. I personally love Spain, like others have said it is so diverse in scenery, people, climates, there is something for everyone :-)  Oh and the Spanish people are usually very lovely people which is always a bonus :-)

  13. I've only been to Barcelona and I love it. Very modern city but yet keeps the old architecture. Romance filled. the only thing i did not like is the food. Too much Tapas gets to boring for me.
