  1. What he did got the  eye of a lot of fokes to get rich fast.he used basic grade school science. he used carnival tricks and made a lot of people believe him and the did till pay day came around.Whats bad their are still people out there buying this idea on the Internet.

  2. Scam artist.

  3. Most likely a fraud.

  4. Don Watts of Las Vegas in around 1990 had a patented CEACU. which stands for Centrifugal  Energy Amplification and Conversion Unit - it turned out to be one more investment fraud.

Thanks Bob I'm still laughing on this one.

  5. The oil idustry will make sure it never ever gets out there if it is true, we will never know the truth.

  6. Great fodder for conspiracy theories but the energy for electrolysis has to come from somewhere.  If that car was parked, no battery, nothing but water in the tank, you could never get it started.

There might be a good idea buried in there somewhere (like the other "water car guy" who uses a radio signal as an energy source for electrolysis) but I doubt it's enough to be commercialized.

  7. Genius in his own way . Sure he was found guilty by an Ohio judge that had 3 experts testify that it was simple electrolysis but that's what he was found guilty of not that it didn't work because it did . His design was just getting a little more hydrogen on demand then others but still able to run his vehicle on water showing that it is possible . The  only problem with his design was to big and balky

  8. Bob is exactly right. This is a scam. Stan Meyer is a fraud.

I have been involved with the Environmental movement for 45 years. I have several very good friends who lost their life savings to scams like this, and were destroyed as a result..

Unfortunately people in the Environmental movement are very trusting. When someone comes along with a device that appears to solve an environmental problem and claims to just need some money to get the device to market, people in the Environmental movement want to help and often do not do the sort of due diligence that would expose a scam, that a professional investor would.

Essentially scam artists see people in the Environmental movement as easy marks.

It is very important that we identify scam artists and expose the scams because the scams destroy good people and interfere with our ability to identify and implement true solutions to our environmental challenges.

  9. Well, a court found him guilty of fraud.

"Stanley Meyer 1996 claimed to have a water powered car and was also big on mixing Christianity and patriot politics in with fringe science.  Meyer was found guilty of fraud after his Water Fuel Cell was tested before an Ohio  judge. It is rare for an inventor to be prosecuted for an invention that does not work, but Meyer's problem was that he had been selling "dealerships", offering investors the "right to do business'' in Water Fuel Cell technology. Meyer refused to allow anyone else to measure his device. "
